The room was spacious and comfortable. The thing that caused me concern was that it didn’t have a private bath, but that was not an issue. We were able to use the facilities at will with no wait or inconvenience. I hadn’t stayed in a place like this before, but I would consider staying again. We had privacy. I wasn’t able to make tea in my room, but I didn’t ask for..."Reviewed October 18, 2026Roundtrip • Boston (BOS) - Dublin (DUB)BOS - DUB • Nonstop DUB - BOS • Nonstop$1,156$895found 1 day agoper traveler - Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin

The noise from the street was a bit much, especially the neighborhood dog that barked at different hours of the night (should have brought my ear plugs). It was Halloween night, so this was probably the reason. Be prepared to go up and down multiple flights of stairs. The all-female bathrooms were clean and spacious as where the showers, but it was impractical to go down a flight of stairs to get..."Reviewed November 3, 2026Roundtrip • Boston (BOS) - Dublin (DUB)BOS - DUB • Nonstop DUB - BOS • Nonstop$1,149$915found 1 day agoper traveler

Ballymascanlon Hotel and Golf Resort"The walled garden was lovely in the sunny autumn weather. My Room 234 was special. Noticed a small cutback in the menu options since my last visit. eg No chowder. But I will be back asap. I love Ballymscanlon"
"Irish hospitality at its best.Dinner and breskfast were excellent the staff helpful and knowledgeable and the room spacious and comfortable."
"Stayed on our way back to Dublin. Hotel is well located between Giant's Causeway and Newgrange and other sites north of Dublin Airport. Hotel itself is modern and well-appointed, good restaurant and easy to access so it was an excellent way station for the touristy stuff we had planned. Room was quiet, very well appointed and spacious, even more so because of honest-to-goodness air conditioning (the relative humidity during our visit to Ireland was typically 70+%) in a country where most...
"Amazing breakfast and staff"
"We arrived and came across a dirty pair of socks in the bath room so the cleaners didn't do there job right"
"Really clean, modern room, comfortable beds and decent shower. Plenty of storage for a couple of nights. Lady on reception was really friendly and helpful. Room could benefit from a hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities but appreciate its basic. Handy location near to plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay there again."
