“Had a wonderful time just north of The Dells a wee bit. My wife and I highly recommend The Lodge at Mauston! If you’re looking for a getaway just a short drive from southern or central Wisconsin, or wherever you’re from. Go to the nearby state parks and roam around the countryside or visit The Dells. It was very pricey and we couldn't check in until 4pm but had to check out at 11 which I didn't like, plus we were checking in on a Monday and the office was not open, a packet was left with the key and paperwork outside the office door.
