Family friendly accessible bungalow in quiet, rural location near the sea

Teylu Lowen is a "home from home" bungalow in a quiet rural location near the sea. The bungalow is perfectly placed to visit the Eden Project, the Poldark Mine, Minack Theatre or Flambards. There are cycle paths, golf courses, beautiful beaches and coastal paths all just a few minutes drive away. The local pubs are friendly and serve excellent food.

We recognise that many families prefer to relax in the warm evenings with a glass of wine/beer and, perhaps, play a game of darts or table tennis so we made sure the bungalow had these along with gravity loungers and a bench with parasol.

The bungalow has a number of accessible features including step free access, and a wet room with a shower seat.

The bungalow has one security camera at the front door facing the front gate.

A spotlessly clean and well equipped bungalow in a quiet location and with a completely enclosed garden. A 30 minutes drive can take you anywhere south of Newquay on the north coast, or across to Falmouth or Penzance. Would definitely recommend

Property in good location but needs updating
The location of the property is very good. Good sized garden for my dog. The wet room is ideal for my disabled daughter, but the beds are not suitable for people with disabilities. They are too soft. The sofas are not very comfortable, the tv is very dated the chairs in the dining area need cushions as without they are not comfortable. I have been before and found it to be very disappointing this time. Overall the property is in need of a complete update Would have benefited if the owner had got in touch before we arrived not after as I could have taken my own pillows and not relied on there being enough as we only had one each.

Property was as advertised. The bungalow was spotlessy clean and had everything we required.The location was perfect lovely country park 3/4 mile away for dog walking. Safe enclosed garden. Local shop pub and take aways a short distance away. Easy access for travelling to other areas.

Another great holiday
This was our second visit to this very clean and comfortable bungalow, a real home from home. Great for local dog walks (especially to the pub) and the beach is only 5 mins away by car. Great location to get anywhere, bakery in Portreath is great for parties and Sunday lunch at the Old Quay House in Hayle is amazing. We will be back, Sonia, Dave and Bailey 🐶

Such a great find!! Loved the bungalow
Great location very central, able to travel to so many places easily. Was very quiet and private but has a pub, boots & mini morrisons 2 minute walk away. Tehidy woods & Porthtreath beach are also so close which our dog loved! The bungalow was immaculately cleaned for our arrival and having fully enclosed front and rear gardens was great for the dog. Everything we needed was provided, washing machine was handy as we were lucky to be able to extend our stay as we didnt want to leave! Will definitely return as great to find accommodation that except dogs in such a beautiful village so close to all the coastal spots we love.

Delightful bungalow
Bungalow was lovely, very clean, homely, great garden for the dog. Local pub was great very friendly, food was amazing. Beach was 5 mins drive or probably a 45 minute walk through the forest but it is up hill all the way back. Would definitely book again and would recommend it to others.

Bungalow was as stated in quiet area and had everything that’s needed for stay. Our two dogs loved the garden, it was secure and large enough for them to Chase around playing. Ideal for visiting the whole of the area from Bobmin to Lands End. Recommend

Great property in quiet location close to everything you need.
We stayed here at the end of August 2022. The bungalow is perfect for two couples or a family. Facilities were great and it really did feel like we stayed somewhere we could live. The property had been thoroughly cleaned and had everything you would need whilst you were there. En-suite bathroom was perfect for my parents to use whilst we used the main bathroom. There was plenty of dvds and video games to keep youngsters occupied if you needed them. Parking was secure and the drive easily fit 2 cars on. The neighbourhood was very quiet and relaxed but close enough to plenty of locations easily accessed by car or even walking - It is about 2 mins drive to Portreath for access to the beach, 15 minutes to Godrevy / Gwithian. Also it was a 5 minute walk to The Robartes Arms which had great food and nice local feel to it. The hosts communicated great and we didn’t even need to contact them whilst we were there as they’d covered everything we needed to know perfectly before we arrived! Overall it was absolutely perfect and would highly recommend!

Excellent location
Very well equipped and confortable bungalow. Bonus was the secure garden, which was totally escape proof for our energetic cockapoo. We did have an issue with the noise from the Drimaster ventilation system, which the owner did her best to resolve. Overall would highly recommend staying at this bungalow, which is central to most of the major beauty spots of Cornwall.

It was a great stay. The cottage is cozy and well equipped. Quiet neighborhood, close to the pub and several shops. Lovely beach nearby. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone, we would love to come back here.

What do I love about this property? EVERYTHING! Spotlessly clean and so spacious. I always feel right at home here. Very well equipped and the dog loves the gardens. In a nice quiet area but close enough to amenities with the car.

Instructions to property were great, on arrival everything was explained well in a welcome folder. Very clean and spacious, rooms are spotless. Plenty of information on surrounding area and logging on to WiFi. Kitchen area is lovely with table and chairs.. Walled garden is ideal for dogs so it's doggie proof..

Great property, great location.
Very well equipped and comfortable house in a convenient location for exploring all Cornwall has to offer. Everything you need for a home away from home and in a very quiet neighbourhood. Good pubs, restaurants and takeaways nearby and great for anyone with reduced mobility with flat access and aids thoughtfully provided throughout.

The bungalow is in an Ideal location, close to both main roads, and the beach. So many hours saved not having to drive/reverse down winding lanes. Property was well presented, and well equipped. A shelf in the bathroom is about the only improvement I can think of. In conclusion, a recommended property and a big thumbs up.

Lovely Bungalow
This is 3rd time of visiting bungalow. nice homely feel, everything you need. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Secure garden for dog. Garden recliners are great if you are lucky to get good weather, which we did. Local shops, pub and good chip shop nearby. Handy position for exploring Cornwall. Owners are very easy to contact if you need to.
