"We enjoyed a nice long weekend. The house is conveniently located for skiing, bowling, and the iron mining museum. The kitchen is very spacious and I appreciated the extra items (condiments, kleenex, enough silverware) that aren't always available."

"This house was so perfect for our family of 7 adults, an 8 year old, and 5 month old! It had everything we needed and more! We loved the “poker room” and hooked out switch up to have game night, the sauna was incredible and inspiring me to build one in my basement, the kitchen was incredible and loved they had an extra kitchen in the basement! "We travelled to the area for my daughter's graduation from NMU. This property was a beautiful relaxation retreat from the busy happens of the weekend. Whether it was relaxing outside by the fire or hanging in the basement/game room, it was the perfect location away from all the people in town for the weekend. Check-in/check-out was seamless and communication was easy. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends."

"This house is so big but also so cozy feeling. There is so much space for kids to run and play while the adults relax. The house had everything you’d need, they even thought to leave extra toothbrushes and toothpaste (Perfect for my forgetful teen daughter) and a pack n play stored in the extra large mud room that greeted us after playing in the snow. "Heather is a fabulous, responsive host and the location could not have been better for our stay during the Marji Gesick. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to a cute lakefront park. While the listing states there are 2 bedrooms, access to the second bedroom and the bathroom requires passing through the first bedroom, so it is not a truly private space, which is something to consider depending on who you are travelling with."
