Typical and renovated Ardennes house

The cottage "La Maison" is a house located in the historic center of the small town of Revin, located in a quiet street and 50 meters from the quays of the Meuse. We have renovated it in order to keep everything that makes it charming with the comfort necessary for an exotic vacation. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms preserve everyone's privacy. A courtyard and an enclosed garden secure a pleasant and green space.

Liebevoll restauriert

Das Haus ist schätzungsweise um 1900 gebaut worden und mit vielen schönen Details liebevoll und geschmackvoll restauriert worden, ohne dass man auf moderne Annehmlichkeiten verzichten muss. Wir haben Ruhe gesucht in schöner Umgebung. Beides haben wir gefunden. Revin ist ideal gelegen, um die französischen Ardennen wandernd, per Fahrrad, mit dem Zug (Bahnhof nur 10 Minuten Fußweg) oder mit dem Auto kennenzulernen. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin.

Leuk huis

Rustige buurt en mooie omgeving goed voor wandelingen. Prima om met de trein andere plaatsen te bezoeken. Restaurants vielen tegen in de plaats.

Rust, alles wat je nodig hebt op loopafstand en geweldige wandelingen. Het huis is prima.

Karakteristieke en goed verzorgde woning in rustige straat bij Maas

Het huis is bijzonder, karakteristiek oud en goed verzorgd. Het is ingericht met veel oog voor detail, al zouden in de (wat sombere) woonkamer een paar extra lampen (vooral bij de eettafel) welkom zijn geweest. De platte tv aan de muur is prima en de bank zit ook goed. De slaapkamers (boven) zijn ruim en de bedden redelijk goed. Er is alleen een wc op de begane grond. De badkamer op de 1e verdieping zit aan de ouderslaapkamer (voorzijde) vast, zodat de mensen die in de andere kamer (achterzijde) slapen de badkamer beneden moeten gebruiken. In de keuken staan inmiddels een vaatwasser en een nieuw gasfornuis. Het uitzicht vanuit de keuken op de tuin is erg leuk. Met mooi weer kun je prima op het terras in de zon zitten (zuid). Het nauwe straatje is heel rustig (erg stil ook in de nacht) en je bent lopend in een paar tellen bij de Maas. Revin is in de zomer waarschijnlijk erg leuk. Rond de jaarwisseling met veel regen was het helaas wat troosteloos. Maar de rivier en omliggende heuvels en natuur zijn erg mooi. Zeker een plek om met mooier weer nog eens terug te komen. Vriendelijke gastvrouw met wie we een afspraak moesten maken voor aankomst en vertrek voor overdracht van de sleutel, wat iets minder handig is ivm de timing, maar wel prettig om elkaar te zien. En begrijpelijk voor een huis als dit, wat met zorg moet worden gebruikt door de huurder.

Een huis met leuke vintage elementen

Allerlei zaken mooi nostalgisch opgeknapt en netjes. De vintage dingen zijn leuk en origineel. Het krappe straatje is bij regenweer wat somber. Eugenlojk niet meer dan vier personen. Leuk eetcafé aan de straat naar de brug.

Ideaal voor wandelaars

Smaakvol gerenoveerde gite in het oudste deel van Revin van waaruit je de mooiste wandelingen kunt maken door een adembenemend landschap.

Accueil chaleureux. Propriétaire très gentille et engagée. La cuisine est bien outillé et était notre pièce favourite (la lumière du soleil). Les chambres sont parfaites. Le living room est un peu sombre: quelques lampadaires supplémentaires et des meubles légères pourraient faire la difference. Merci Corinne.

Great vacation

We had a wonderful time in Corinne's fully-equipped, comfortable and beautiful vacation home. We especially loved the charming traditional tile floors. The place is centrally located but quiet with a nice garden. Corinne was a great host, she always made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you, we hope to come back one day!

Excellent gîte à Revin

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans le gîte, le quartier est calme et proche du centre, le jardin est très agréable aux beaux jours et les alentours offrent de nombreuses possibilités de balade. Nous y reviendrons!

Maison de caractère, accueil de qualité

Nous avons passé un long weekend entre amis. La maison est spacieuse et fonctionnelle, tout en gardant un charme ancien. On s'y sent bien. L'accueil est chalereux. Rien à redire, un très bon choix pour une escapde dans les Ardennes!
