I have always given great reviews for travel stays if well deserved, but in this case I have to say ….
In retrospect it was a very beautiful hotel but a disappointing experience because the staff did not address my concerns in a timely manner & questioned the facts about my complaint. I was getting bitten by bugs in the room we stayed in over the course of the three days of stay & they determined that they were not to be considered at fault. So I can not in good conscience give this hotel a positive review.

Wonderful old grist mill. Wonderful grounds to walk on. Evening meal was easily 3-4 star Michelin rating. Breakfast buffet was excellent but the cook would also cook a breakfast to order. Then to top it off they drove us back to our drop off point.
