Amazing stay in botafogo

It's five minutes from copacabana in taxi and 5 minutes walk to all the bars in botafogo and near the beach. Clean hotel and good AC and WiFi.

Good location and breakfast. The hotel was booked out and expensive because of carnival which was an inconvenience for me but the hotel coped with it well. Still good service despite all the people.

Not a quiet place, near a very busy street but convenient near everything you might need. Staff was friendly and helpful Can’t walk around with cell phones or anything valuable outside of the hotel. Be aware!

POSITIVES Staff are kind and attentive, safe location, comfortable room. NEGATIVES Weird parking situation where you leave your keys with the attendant who then leaves them on top of your car, essentially so anyone can wander into the garage and drive off with your car or go into your car as they do not check who is driving what

Best service and value small and clean room

Angelina at the reception needs a special mention, offering assistance beyond call of duty. Incredible price at $140 ( inclusive of breakfast) when other hotels in the vicinity shotup New Year prices to $400 plus. Ibis is on my favourite list now. They even made an at no extra charge. Definitely worth spending on taxi (US$12) to get there and back to Copacabana which also has Ibis worth checking out. A swimming pool would have given the Ibis 4* rating

I stayed in a very clean double room and had a very good experience. The hotel doesn’t provide extras like slippers, which I expected and brought my own, but I was surprised that only bath towels were provided with no hand towels. There is no room safe, and the only bin is in the bathroom, it would have been helpful to have one in the room as well. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and some spoke English, which made things much easier. The location is convenient, busy but safe and it was easy to get an Uber to pick you up or drop you off right outside the hotel. The room had a fridge, which was empty, making it handy to stock up from the nearby supermarket. The price of the room was also very reasonable for Rio, making this a practical and comfortable base for exploring the city. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe staying there.

Um bom hotel para viagens curtas ao RJ

A comida é boa, os atendentes gentis e solícitos. Mas os quartos são bem pequenos, padrão Ibis mesmo. Para uma viagem de 3 a 4 dias, no máximo, está bem satisfatório.

Faltaram coisas que eu nestava acostumado a faltar em hotéis com diaria superior a 500 reais, como: frigibar abastecido, toalha de rosto, cobertor (estava um dia frio), garagem (a garagem era paga), café da manhã (também pago à parte). Outra coisa que achei estranho: as portas do banheiro e do box abriam para o lado errado.
