This was me and my fiancés second time at this property. The friendliness and hospitality across the board is second to none. The smaller more intimate resort makes this stay feel like you’re away from the rest of the world. Terrific all around

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Loved that it was not crowded and had a lot of space. The beach was beautiful and the pool was heaven when you wanted to cool off and grab a drink

Amazing staff that go out of their way to make you feel welcome; especially Astrid a quezqbelle at the Palapa buffet. The buffet is outstanding and we wished the restaurants Adelita and the Tapas terrace could be brought up in flavor to match the outstanding flavors of the Palapa. Otehreise, we had a fabulous 4 days.

I had an amazing stay at Catalonia Royal Tulum. The property is beautiful, very quiet, clean, staff were friendly and attentive, the food was amazing, our room was clean and modern, and beautiful beaches. The property is surrounded by a jungle and you will see native wildlife walking around on the grounds, which was enjoyable for me. I was concerned about getting sick but I did not. Catalonia has a good water filtration system and their water is safe to drink. They even provide bottled water daily for their guests. The food at the restaurants were exquisite. I would definitely go back in the future.

This place was perfect! Its more for adults that are looking to relax. Not a party resort. The only thing that was a little annoying, was that they had entertainment staff that would try to get games started and rather than just asking once if someone would like to join. They kept pestering and not only just in person but on a mic. So i learnt to just stay away from where they were starting some entertainment. Food was the best we've ever had, also worth paying the little extra for privileged package as it includes the Beloved restaurant by the beach. They had the best food! 👌

It’s smaller so if you are the beach and forget something in your room, it only took a few minutes to go back. Wish they had a dinner buffet because there are no food options after 6pm if you didn’t make a reservation at one of the restaurants. They did offer room service 24/7 but very limited options after 10pm and the food wasn’t the greatest with room service.

Every detail is thought through. Super clean, lovely grounds. Friendly staff (real friendly not overly fake friendly). Great food and cocktail selection across the resort. Lots of activities or options to just sit by the pool or enjoy the clear beach. Two tips: make reservations at Rauxa for the dinner and show (the best meal we had), and if you like your steak medium rare-ask for medium

We have stayed here several times now and this year it’s seems the property is in the best shape it has been in for a few years and the food quality is better now than it has been in the last couple of years. The people that work at the resort is one of the biggest reasons we come back, they treat you like family and it seems like a genuine pleasure for them to do so. See you next year if not sooner.

The staff was amazing, especially the entertainment staff. They do such a great job of interacting with the guests, they remember names and get to know them. Diego, Paulina, Regina, Charlie, Georginia, Nikki, you all made our trip an amazing one. Flaviano and Quetzabel were as equally amazing on the food side. This team has become our gold standard, best we've seen in 5 trips to Mexico. Activities were really fun and always something offered. Loved the smaller size of the resort with the jungle atmosphere. Beach was amazing, beautiful clean, clear water. Nightly entertainment was also good, Rauxa was great, the break dancers were great, karaoke was fun, neon night and mexican game night. Rooms were pretty basic and nothing to brag about, a little musty smelling, cleaning staff was very nice and did a great job. Food wad average to good. Nothing that was life changing but we didnt go hungry. Nice options for food and nice smaller potions. Drink selection was good with some name brand alcohol (malibu, skyy vodka, jack daniels to name a few.) The Beloved option was not really worth the upgraded price. The Beloved restaurant was good but that is all you really get besides a small area on the beach and a discount to the spa. Its not too hard to find a spot by the pool or the beach, plenty of chairs. The pool and buildings were nice, needs a few small maintenance updates, water was cold in pool. Would recommend highly.

When booking through Expedia it said shuttle service to the resort was included, but when getting to the airport they said it was not included and they were asking for an excessive amount of money for a cab to the resort
