We really enjoyed our 3 nights here. Amazing view, really cool property, fantastic restaurant, and really friendly staff. They take good care of the place. There are 2 things that could be improved on - the a/c in our room blew right on me in bed and the water pressure was a little low. These are really minor things completely out weighed by the positives.

This is such a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were amazing and so helpful. We stayed in the room above the restaurant and our A/C was having issues the first few days, but eventually it worked great. The best part is the private beach. The restaurant is very expensive on site but there are lots of other options (Matteo's has awesome tacos and Mena next door is very good too). If you book the Chichen Itza tour don't worry about paying extra for hotel pickup, as the road is too narrow for bus pick up. Just get the Super Aki pick up (you can easily get a taxi). If I ever go back to Tulum I will definitely stay here again!

We had the most amazing time here during the holiday break. Martin took great care of us. Thank you Martin! The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious. We are so glad we found this gem. There is enough chairs and umbrellas for all residents. The private beach cove was so beautiful.

Great hotel!
Wonderful, charming little hotel. Lovely staff that really get to know you and your family. Great breakfast included in the stay. Food in and around the hotel is fairly expensive, but you can taxi into the town of Tulum for cheaper choices. The road outside the hotel if very busy, but you get used to walking around the traffic.

From the moment we got there to the very last moment of check out, my mom, friend, and I had the most great experience. Our room was not only super spacious and well-maintained, but it was also very clean and up-to-date. The daily cleaning service was exceptional. Every morning we were greeted with friendly smiles from the staff, and I highly recommend eating breakfast there because the food was so delicious. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and when I say that this place is hands-down probably the best place that we’ve eaten since being here in Tulum! The flavors and the consistency of the presentation throughout the whole week a free breakfast was honestly just so rewarding and a nice touch to staying here. The customer service was exceptional 10/10 from Nayeli, Daniel, Martin, and plenty of the other staff. Much thanks to the cooks because the food like we said before was the best we’ve had in all of Tulum. I highly recommend staying here because not only is it super authentic and unique. They have the best and most attentive staff, delicious and variety of food, and the location I promise you is like no other. This is well worth your buck and I highly recommend staying here anytime you visit. I just want to say personally thank you so much for such a beautiful and welcoming stay!My mom and I made so many memories here and we can’t get over the view from our room! I’m definitely coming back to visit soon!

This is the perfect place to stay in Tulum. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming, and Chef Martin’s kitchen makes absolutely phenomenal food and drinks at the restaurant. This location is phenomenal too. Fantastic quaint, clean, and private beach next to various shops and restaurants. Far enough from all the action to where you feel like you’re getting an escape, but close enough to be a 5 minute cab ride as well. I would recommend this to anyone. This place and the staff truly made our stay very special.

This is an amazing hotel! Is small, no many rooms. The fact that is in front of the beach makes it even better. You can see the sunrise and I love how they protect the nest of the turtles! The service is amazing. All employees were very nice and they give us lots of information and tips to enjoy our trip. Ask them for everything! Rooms need to be upgrade a bit. The hotel is located in a good area with restaurants, shops, and bars. You have lots of options. Unfortunately, we came during seaweed season and weren’t able to swim. However, the environment at the beach is very nice and you can enjoy with a good margarita! Food is also good, and the restaurant of the hotel gives you good options. Thank you very much to the staff! You make our trip magical!

The hotel is right in front of ocean. We loved sleeping to the sound of waves crashing on to the beach. Food was fabulous! Only disappointment was the inability to get into the water because of seaweed and no pool.

Secret Paradise
It was paradise! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Even though the place may be older than most other places there it has been well looked after and the atmosphere is exactly what we wanted! We didnt even mind the sargassum, however if that was not an issue there, the place would be a perfect place to soak in the water too. We would definitely stay here again and again! The place was beautiful and just what we needed. There was a lot of seaweed and was a little disappointing but they worked hard to clean the beaches. The restaurant was so good we did it eat anywhere else Martin and Nyeli were great at making our stay special. Water was provided daily. The breakfast that was included was sooo good! All the food was fresh. Bike rental was close by and could ride to south tulum or into town. Great location! Plenty of shops and convenience store close for snacks and drinks. Beds were comfortable too. Will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at this hotel for three nights. Our room had an incredible ocean view and we could hear the waves in bed, which was special. It’s set on the beach so you walk across the sand to get to your room each evening and breakfast each morning. The room was big and very clean, and the hotel itself felt very relaxing and charming. The hotel team were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was delicious with lots of choice, and the happy hour cocktails were great too! There are restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and it’s easy to get taxis too, although these aren’t cheap. We rented bikes from across the road to visit a cenote and the ruins. We preferred staying in this quiet part of Tulum rather than the party zone.

Upon checking in, we were greeted by the friendliest staff and welcomed to this beautiful slice of paradise on the beach. Wake up and have a coffee on the porch overlooking the sea, or take in the calm sounds of the waves at night before going to sleep. There are a few places to eat and drink within walking distance and everything else is a quick taxi ride away, with plenty of taxis driving by to pick up (or the front desk will happily call one for you). We ate dinner at the restaurant the night we checked in and the food was really good. Only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because it’s on the beach, so you will inevitably track some sand into your room. The staff was great about cleaning, though, and maintaining the property overall. They were doing some hammering in the early morning in the room below ours, but they stopped immediately when we went down and asked them to quiet down. Other 4 star rating was for eco-friendliness, since there’s no method for recycling, but that may just be a Mexico limitation. This place is well worth the price. We would definitely come back and stay here!

Beautiful beach getaway with just 9 rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean, with aircon if you want it (and no TV, but that’s good thing!). There are several cafes and beach clubs within a few minutes walk, plus a small convenience store and craft and clothing stores. You can just escape from the world here for a few days, hang out on the beach and relax. Then it’s a short drive to Tulum ruins or the local cenotes. It was the perfect choice for our beach stay on our Yucatan roadtrip. Thanks,

This is a lovely place to stay, with small and quiet beach, away from the many people who stay on the longer beaches at the bigger resorts. It feels contained and friendly, and you can walk to those long open beaches if you want to.

The front desk staff was friendly, but the wait staff not friendly at all. Our first day we bought 2 beers and the waiter said we could charge to the room. That night, at 10pm they knocked on our door and made us pay right then. They cannot control the location, but because it is in a cove the seaweed is really bad and you cannot swim in the water. We walked to the stretch of beach after the cove and that is a way better spot. The breakfast was good and fish tacos at lunch. Dinner seafood dish, not so great.

extremely dissatisfied,. do not recommend it
Pros: - the hotel is located on a semi-private beach that is beautifully set up and I would say that is the only thing that stands out about this place. Cons: Room: - there were bugs on our bed - there was a blood stain on the bed sheet and towels were all stained yellow - the beds made a lot of noises. As soon as you moved on one bed, it was so loud that would easily wake up the other person on the other bed. - the lamp inside the room was not working and the room was very dark - the front door was broken and would not open/close properly - no complimentary tea/coffee inside the room - internet/wifi kept disconnecting - lots of nighttime noise in the room due to the restaurant's loud music - there was a major undeclared construction on the building next door and the disturbing loud noise was on and off throughout the day Facility and safety: - the beach is not private. In fact many non-hotel guests come through the side door, and just use the facility (beach, chairs, etc) and take pictures and leave which makes the place unsafe in my opinion for hotel guests. The facility has no control over who enters/exists which means if as a hotel guest you leave your shoes outside of your door to dry, they may very well get stolen and hotel would have no idea about it. Location: - inconveniently very far from downtown. It costs roughly 300-450 pesos one-way from downtown/highway to the hotel. Breakfast - the complementary breakfast is very bare basic (not even including eggs).

Dear Guest: Thanks for your feed back, after your check out, we expected something like this. just a few things to consider:*continental breakfast is metioned on your confimation, not american breakfast or buffet as your requirements*no construction at all, it was just a mantenience work in one of our rooms an tooks no more than 1 hour, the works started at noon but since you arrived around 11am and normally check in time is at 3, at your check in we explain you about we can always gave you direct access to the room or you prefer to wait until check in time (3pm) and you said"no problem if is a quick job"*Do no exist private beaches in México, our beach looks like a semi private beach and everyone is allow to come and visit us as hotel guest or restaurant visitor since our restaurant allowed *Is so commun the guests leaves shoes, towels, coolers and other stuff outside the rooms and nothing happend, in México, USA and around the world theres some cases about rob, but if you saw, in tulum the mostly places are quiate *about the bugs we offered you to move the room or a permission to check it since is the first time we had a report like this, and it was so extrange but you dont allowed us to entrance and not cleaning service during your stay cause you dont wanted to have it...*We are 10 minutes away from town in a car, but we dont determinate the cab cost, that is complety external to the hoteliers Anyway we apreciated your time to share your experience, our priority is the satisfaction from all our guests we very sorry that not happenig with you..Best regards
