Cozy house by the beach
This property was immaculately clean, well supplied with toys, beach supplies and almost anything you could think of to need. Well located, walking distance to most things in town - the beach, coffee, restaurants and shopping. The hosts were very responsive to questions. Would love to go back.

Aug vacation
This is the second time we have stayed here. Oth times it has been everything its advertised to be. We enjoyed our stay here and will stay herre in the future if possible. Five stars!

Summer 2023 Family getaway
The property managers were terrific and very responsive. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice, the property was bigger than the pictures showed. Very short walk to the beach and everything. We never had to get in our cars. The kids loved the train ride! I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a casual family beach experience!

Rocka wave rocks!
Loved the little, yet spacious, red beach house! Clean, comfortable and so close to the beach and shops in town. Wine & coffee & smore ingredients awaited us!

Amazing beach home with everything you need!
My family with 3 generations aged 1-70 had a fantastic time at this beach house! My kids were thrilled with the assortment of toys and each rental since then hasn’t lived up to their expectations now as they are always wondering where all the fun stuff is! The beach access is phenomenal and you have all you need with shops nearby. Although you are in a busy area it’s never noisy. Beds are comfortable and the shower is hot! We would love to come back one day. Thanks for everything!

Walk to the beach!
My teenager, Goldendoodle, and I had a fabulous time! The home was super cute and comfy with lots of little extras. We walked to the beach whenever we wanted to, especially to watch the stunning sunsets - it is so close!! Owners are so friendly and responsive. We had such a great time!

We loved our stay!!
This house was perfect for my son, pups and I - it was very clean, comfortable and unique! We had a quick walk to the beach or into downtown, whichever way we went, the location is very convenient! The owners were also very great to work with, super responsive and kind. We'll definitely be vacationing to this home again, we can't wait!

Very comfortable, close to beach
Thoughtfulness really captures the vibe of this house. The kitchen is well equipped and lots of extra linens and blankets as well as things for the dog, baby and older children. The location is amazing, we were able to walk down the beach, cut over to the old cedar tree trail and back no problem. Thanks for a great house!

Quick Beach and Town Access
My husband and adult daughter and our small dog had a great three day stay in this cozy little beach house. The fenced yard was perfect for us. The house is well located just off the beach with tiny water views from the back deck and it's right in the town of Rockaway so a few steps to restaurants and shops. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

My son and I just love this house on the beach at Rockaway. It has everything you need for either an adventurous beach weekend or a quiet weekend away. Board games, toys, movies, and beach activities abound. Absolutely love staying at the “Red House” as my son affectionately calls it.

This property was very clean and just as advertised. It was very well stocked with everything adults need and had a great selection of toys for the toddler with us. It was close enough to the beach that I could walk there even using a cane. It was close to the center of town and the old railroad. Sandra was very easy to work with and was responsive when contacted. The property was extacly what we needed and was perfect for us. The toddler who was with us cried when told we were going home, she wanted to stay at the “red house”. We will definitely stay there again.

Thoughtful Owners and Great Access to Beach and Town
We had a lovely stay. The owners are very communicative and respond quickly to any questions. This kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of space to store our food. The bathrooms also had space for personal items. We were working and had no trouble with the wifi. It is a super quick walk to the beach, a small grocery store, and multiple restaurants. You are literally in the heart of Rockaway. The small fenced-in yard is nice for bringing the pup too. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to beach and well stocked!
We were so pleased with the location of this property. It was close enough that our 14 month old could walk to the beach with us, rather than being carried. In addition to the great location, the house was comfortable and well stocked. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into it. There were toys for the kids, beach supplies (towels, toys, bags), a pack n' play for little ones, extra dog leashes, dog bowls, and a fully fenced yard, and extra phone chargers for a variety of phones. The beds were comfortable and our son loved the "kids" room. We will stay here again on our next trip to Rockaway Beach!

Great little getaway cottage. The home really had a welcoming feel about it. The hosts have thought of every incidental and provided them. This place is a perfect shore getaway. The beach is absolutely beautiful! The only reason it's not straight 5 stars is the lack of good restaurants right in town. Most places had lower quality "cafeteria type" food. However, that was offset by the fact that the place is just a short ride north or south to some very good places to eat. Overall this is a wonderful place and John & Sandi are fantastic hosts!

Awesome Location - Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer!
The home was clean and had everything a family could want: towels, beach towels, some board games, crayons, and more! Well stocked kitchen (both condiments and dishware/cookware). Something that not all family friendly properties think of, but these hosts did: waterproof mattress covers for the kids' beds. Went to add one for my youngest child and found one already there! WOW! This kind of attention to detail takes a lot of the stress out of taking a vacation with the kids! And the location is really convenient to all the restaurants in Rockaway Beach's downtown area, gift shops, etc... And just a short walk to the beach, pirate ship playground, and Oregon Scenic Train depot! A great spot with just the right amount of room for a family. :)
