"It was the perfect place for our family of five to explore the Groningen area and our family's ancestry. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, and located right on a canal. We rented the boat and took it out on the lake one day. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and eating outside on one of the many decks surrounded by flowering bushes and plants. We wish we had more time to spend at the house and in the Kropswolde/Groningen area but hope to come back someday!"

"Wir (2 Erwachsene & 4 Kinder) waren zum ersten Mal an diesem Urlaubsort. Bei der Ankunft verlief alles reibungslos. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht über die Unterkunft. Alles war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wunderbar war auch, das man direkt vor der Tür einen schönen Spielplatz hatte. Der kleine Supermarkt hat auch alles da, wenn man mal etwas vergessen hat. "May not suit everyone, but if you want a very quiet, relaxed time, this is perfect. The cabin was superb, with everything you need. No TV, and that was fine. The owners were lovely, Stan and Ienke were gentle souls who were always on hand. The satnav. did not take us directly to the camp, but it was easy to find. Beautiful cycling area. Would definitely go there again. This is a place of quiet and peace, a place to unwind. It has a wildness about it that is endearing."

"We got an upgrade to stay with our dog could, so we have not been in this house. But the agency was very helpful and nice. The view from the living room was wonderful - directly on the water from the Lauwersmeer. Everything was clean and perfectly equipped. Full recommendation, certainly not our last visit!"
