Barendorf liegt ab von jeglicher Einkaufsmöglichkeit, daher ist dieser Ort ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt fußläufig einen tollen kilometer langen Sandstrand, auch für Hunde sehr gut geeignet.
