Close to the train station resturants was nice. The 47 steps were pretty ruff trying to get heavy luggage up the stairs. I would only go back if they had someone to help with the luggage

Rudia and Veronica were extremely helpful and friendly. They showed me to my room even when I arrived early, and when I interrupted their work to ask for help breaking my luggage lock, they cheerfully lent tools. (I had lost the keys. Travel tip: use pliers to break the tab of the zipper.) 47 Steps is very secure with three keyed doors between the street and each room. You’ll need cellular data to unlock the street door upon your first arrival, or make arrangements with the owners ahead of time. Location is just half a block from Roma Termini Station, extremely convenient for a stopover.

The hotel is inside of a very large building. You do really have to walk up about 47 Steps to get to the rooms, which are beyond a door. The area is not so safe looking, but right across the street from the Termini station. The facility looks relatively new, but the fixtures and furniture seems cheap and easily broken.

This guest house was squeaky clean and very quiet. It is super close to the train station, which enabled us to easily walk there and back for our next train. The attendant helped us up the stairs (yes, there are 47 granite stairs) once she knew we were there. It is modern and sleek inside the guest house( which is in an old building). . We would definitely stay there again. We found many restaurants a few blocks away, and also visited a nearby cathedral on our less than 24 hour stopover. We discovered Ceci’s Trattoria nearby - a diamond in the rough. The food was wonderful, the house wine superb, the waiter positively charming. We would definitely return to 47 steps.
