The hotel was dingy - we don’t smoke, but were told that under no circumstances were we to smoke in the room or within 100 ft of the room outdoors. We got to our room that smelled like old cigarette smoke and encountered the guest in the next room smoking outside maybe 10 feet from our door. There were cigarette burn holes in both bedspreads, and when we opened our beds, I could smell old smoke in the pillows, the sheets on my bed were dirty, and the pillow case was covered with old mascara marks…when we went to the front desk to talk to them about it while polite, the night manager basically told us that the room couldn’t smell like smoke and that the sheets had been washed.

Staff was great..but there was drug paraphernalia in the room that my children found. Disgusting. Would not recommend unless you're into drugs. They need housekeepers that actually clean.

Well, the woman at the front desk was very kind. She upgraded us to a different room as she told us that she wouldn’t ever sleep in the King rooms that they were gross. Okay no problem. We then get to our double queen room. There is plastic taped over the smoke detector for starters and the room smells terrible. Then I pull back the sheets on one of the bed and there is what appears to be fresh (still wet) fluid splatter on the sheets. One can only imaging what from.

The service and property were both just horrible. I was so grossed out. I have pretty reasonable expectations of cheap hotels but this one was so awful and I recommend you head to another cheap hotel in the area. There are plenty in the area and they have to be better than this place

Save yourself the trouble
This was the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The carpet was so gross I had to put blankets down to walk on and my socks still were black. The place smelled so bad I had to buy air freshener to tolerate. If I hadn’t prepaid I would have left sooner. I’ve stay in lots of cheap motels and have travelled in the developing world quite a bit. This was by far the most revolting room and hotel I’ve ever encountered. There’s other low price motels in the area. Save yourself the trouble

Why would anybody stay there? I actually didn’t. I stepped into the room and immediately noticed a very intense moldy smell. I checked the bathroom and it was honestly disgusting. The owners should be ashamed of owning this place, it’s legit garbage.

First of all, I would like to recognize the effort put in via excellent, world-class customer service provided by Jennifer, the receptionist. She was the night staff member who had gone the extra extra mile to make sure we were happy with our stay. Jennifer had done everything she could to help an already not too satisfactory situation we encountered. With that said, this facility could use some improvement. The carpet needs to be changed, the system needs to be a little more user friendly (as Jennifer was really struggling to check us in, and then some more..). When we booked our room via Expedia, and had asked for something specific, we expected the to get what we asked for. However, your system didn't register what we requested when it auto-assigned a room on the second floor, while we had specifically asked for one on the first floor. This was the reason why Jennifer had to put it so much effort (ie, searching the system and literally walking around the facility under the cold weather to find a room that closely matches). Your facility, while safe and very convenient, needs serious upgrading. As for staff & service, I could give 10 stars if possible. Your receptionist deserves a raise, or at least some kind of recognition for her efforts in customer satisfaction. Thank you, Jennifer- you had made our stay very pleasant, regardless of some hiccups here and there.

Adequate for a quick stay.
It was adequate for a quick stay in Roseburg. Convenient to places needed to be. Very old and outdated. Although know it was cleaned, sheets had dirty debris left in them. Front desk staff wasn't all that friendly or helpful. Breakfast was good to get a start to the day.

The shower was not working, and the tub was dirty. The bathroom door was cracked. There was no ice tub, and the ice machine was only one located at the other end of the building. The reception provided a plastic bag to carry ice. I also complained to Wyndham, but no response or acknowledgement by them.

It is conveniently right off the freeway. Easy to find. It wasn't loud considering being next to the freeway. The only issues I had was the hot and cold water was swapped and the a/c- heating unit needed cleaned. It made a horrible whiny noise so we turned it off.

Room was clean. No phone. No alarm to wake up. Bed was extremely hard to sleep on, toilet in bathroom was not at a good height for seniors, broken soap holder on side of bath tub. Needs a little TLC.

Dirty Dive in a Terrible Location!
This was possibly the worst hotel we have stayed in during many years of travel. First off its right on busy Hwy 5 and the noise of traffic is constant even into the late night hours with 18 wheeler's going back and forth constantly The room was disgusting. The carpet had black oil marks on it and everything was dirty. The bathroom window was cracked and had black mold, the tub was stained and the areas on the ceiling, bath fan and smoke detector had not been cleaned in a long time. The bed and bedding was cheap and uncomfortable. Could not have been much worse!
