“A great location to explore the area, including walking distance to WoodHenge, a short drive to Stonehenge and an hour from Glastonbury. Very quiet, peaceful and quaint. The perfect short break away.”

“Charming cottage, conveniently situated near Stonehenge and other related sites. It was a great base for us to explore the area. The cottage had all we needed to be comfortable - plenty of space, comfortable beds and well equipped. The village has a great pub (The Plume of Feathers). We were there on a Sunday evening when it is usually shut, but the landlord said he would open the kitchen just for us!! The menu was imaginative and the food absolutely excellent so do recommend patronising……

“Why is the rating so low? Because the photos and the description do not match reality. The listing clearly states that guests have access to a BBQ (as shown on the website), but the real photos do not confirm the presence of any barbecue area. In our messages, we were informed at the last moment that there was no BBQ at all. The host even suggested that we could bring our own barbecue, which clearly shows that the listing was misleading. “Lovely cottage in the Cotswolds. We stayed here for its proximity to Badminton Horse Trials and we were not disappointed. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and garden as the cottage had everything we needed and very comfortable.”

“Everything was perfect! La Casetta is immaculately clean, private, and comfortable. The hosts live right next door, and are very kind and thoughtful. They set up a table and chairs so I could enjoy the beautiful garden, and brought me tiramisu my last evening. I look forward to staying here again. ”
