“The rooms were simple & comfortable but the check in process was pretty poor. Dinner & breakfast were just about ok but we were rushed out of the breakfast room at 10.10 & asked to leave the hotel asap for the cleaners to start work. Overall I can give this property no more than 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!”

“Great breakfasts. Clean room with everything needed including hairdryer and large closet with drawers and hanging bar. Friendly and helpful people. Simon is very helpful and cooks well. Well stocked bar with a great atmosphere. If you like, you can see the large German shepherd who likes everyone. It's in a quiet and peaceful village next to a small convenience store. “The property is quaint/unusual. Not easily seen from the road if arriving in the dark. Provisions given in the room and the landing were excellent and fabulous location for Stansted airport. However, on opening the front door noted that the hall carpet was slightly worn and the room allocated had a shower in the room rather than the bathroom. Otherwise very comfortable stay and would book again, but request a room with a definite bathroom.”

“Just a short one night stay for our night before our flight out of Stansted. Great little find, just 30 mins from the airport but a lovely peaceful location. "Wonderful stay at Turing Locke—highly recommended! We had a great time staying here. The staff at both check-in and check-out were lovely and very helpful, and they also provided convenient luggage storage. The apartment features great amenities, including a gym and a well-equipped kitchen. The interior courtyard is very quiet and peaceful. Located in a beautiful small community with a lovely environment, it's just steps away from a bus stop heading to the city center. Supermarkets, restaurants, and coffee shops are all nearby. With its reasonable price, it is definitely highly recommended!"
