“Worst stay ever”

“The building is older and not kept up well. The outlet next to the sink didn't work, the TV remote was broken, very noisy bathroom fan, and a number of other small things related to an older building that has not been properly kept up to date. The staff was helpful with some extra towels and the bathroom seemed clean. ”

“Have little smell ”

“We spent only one night at Ruby. Wanted to extend our stay but weren’t able to because of plans the next day. I will be returning to Madison next week and will def stay again. Staff is exceptional. Ambience of the hotel is so warming, inviting and relaxing. We felt as though we stepped back in time for the evening. Very clean, extremely clean. We had to leave at 0600 so didnt get to enjoy the breakfast. The long narrow hallways added to the historic charm. While roaming around exploring all……

“Room was clean and staff was helpful”

“Staff were not very informative. Handed us the room key and we navigated our way on our own. First impression, garbage was more than overflowing right at the receptionists desk. Our room's sink was cracked, be careful where one walks on the carpet in the halls, some is torn or rippled, broken telephone key pad on phone in the room. ”

“Almost everything was great. The staff was excellent. The breakfast is well done. The property and room were very clean and well kept. My almost is due to the high level of chemicals in the pool. My kiddo swims a BUNCH in pools and lakes and this is the first time her skin and eyes got VERY red. The smell of the chlorine was also very strong. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool-but only opted to use it once due to the potency of the chemicals. But REALLY everything else was very……

“Hotel was family friendly, with a kid friendly pool that made our evenings fun and enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and friendly!”

“Clean, in a great location, nice room. My only complaint is- I don’t know what’s on the floor above room 111, if it’s apartments or more rooms or what have you.. but there was so much noise upstairs, and at late hours. It sounded like someone was playing basketball with bowling balls. We had a baby and it woke her up. I do understand that noise is expected when sharing a space but man, it seemed excessive.”
