Punta Engaño4 nights3.5 star property7.0/10 - Good (447 reviews)"I got a better swim at the pool and at the beach. breakfast was ok and staff are great except for Cecille the person who was at the front desk when we checked in at 2pm. She told me that checked-in is at 3pm but there’s a room ready for you. I just got so annoyed when she said that, and told her that "you don't have to say the 3pm time to checked-in, if the room is ready just checked us in! then she gave me a room with no AirCondition working...pure warm air coming out. "Hey, the welcome was amazing, and they helped with bags to the room)) The beach is really nice and warm, with loads of BBQ restaurants on the beach, and they're very cheap. The hotel has it own beach restraunt which is very good value for money)) The room it's self is large and spacious. I would recommend this hotel, felt very safe as the resort has it own security ))"

The place had a local vibe to it. If you want an off the beaten path…no kidding cause you need to go down a very uneven dirt road to access the place…vs staying at a resort that has no character this is the place for you. Lots of goats come to the property. A kitten and a couple dogs live there. And the...
