Faultless, spacious and very clean, excellent sea view

Nice spacious room, cleaned daily. Very polite staff, great amenities, especially for children. Lovely location, right on the coast with a nice promenade in front but no beach worth mentioning! Lots of sun chairs ( in February/ March) . The only problem we had was the food was a bit cold, some meat tough and there were only buffets, no al a carte. Such a pity. But for the money it was good value.

The people and the service and the quality of the environment were outstanding. Alex and Fran on the front reception were wonderful (and we were difficult as I needed a great room to work in and my wife had interviews for CNN and a podcast to do) and Alex and Fran made everything sparkle. The buffet was brilliant (I’m vegetarian and my wife is highly carnivorous) and we both ate extremely well. The hotel was conveniently located (we just took a short taxi to do whale watching) and it was lovely to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the sea. Large all inclusive hotel very close to the beach with nice rooms, several pools and food options. Personnel very welcoming and agreeable. Good location.

We were upgraded to an Ocean View Suite and it was superb. The views were amazing. It was my birthday while there and we came back to our room to find a balloon, Cava and chocolate, it was a lovely surprise. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. We often stay in Puerto de la Cruz but until now have never found accommodation we were happy with. Now we have and we will definitely stay again. Small but important thing… the balcony door did not have a handle outside. The door had closed itself behind my husband while he was outside and he couldn’t get back in! Luckily, I could open the door but if we had both been out there, we would have been stranded!
