February get-away
Location is perfect!! Short walk to the beach on a wooden walkway. Beach is beautiful with very interesting sandbars. Condo is a short distance from Hunting Beach State Park and is another beautiful beach and environment. We found sand dollars and other beautiful shells. The condo was very clean and seemed to be freshly painted with new flooring.The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The view from the upstairs bedroom is gorgeous especially sunrises. Kitchen had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were great. The host provided a pass for the state park and that was so much appreciated....thank you!!!

Weekend Getaway
We loved everything. The house was spotlessly clean, stocked with all essentials and both the couch and the king sized bed were very comfortable. So many times we've had terrible mattresses and uncomfortable furniture in a rental property, but this owner's attention to these kinds of details went a long way to make our stay very comfortable. Everything from booking to checking in/out was simple and worked perfectly. The owner provided a State Park pass with the unit, so we were able to visit the local parks without paying for admission. The boardwalk to the beach is immediately behind this building, so beach access couldn't have been easier. We spoke with the owner of the property before out stay, and she clearly wanted to make sure that we have a pleasant and uneventful stay, and we did. I highly recommend this property and I would certainly stay here again.

great communication with the host. very nice views from our upstairs accommodation. the furniture and kitchen are dated but worked fine. it was very foreign to us to not have recycling available (a community issue; there were recycling bins in charleston). our condo was remote; we needed to drive a fair distance to access a grocery store. it was a very quick stroll to the beach. we would stay here again.

Very beautiful beach views and beach after a long boardwalk walk. Furnishings could use some rehabilitation since overall it was shabby and stained. Iron should be replaced since it was dirty and dysfunctional. The manager/owner was perfectly pleasant to deal with. And of course the location is grand.

Nature lovers paradise
We absolutely loved the island and would not hesitate to stay here again. The view from the condo was beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. We have definitely never been to a beach area with so many different types of birds. We loved that we could watch the sunrise from the deck, too. The beach is definitely different from a typical beach, but we were fascinated by how quickly the tides came in and out and how huge the beach gets at low tide. If you are looking for lots of waves, this isn't the place. For us it was great, though, and I think it would be really nice for families with young children. We love that there are no crowds and tons of space to spread out. We also enjoyed walking the beach as far as we possibly could towards the state park end at low tide. It was otherworldly. The state park itself is definitely worth a visit. The "ghost beach" was neat to see, the lighthouse complex was interesting, and the beach there looked nice. My husband enjoyed riding his bike from the condo and exploring the state park trails. Thanks for a great place to stay and explore!

Quick Beach Trip
We were looking for a quick beach trip and this condo and Harbor Island were a perfect choice. The unit was very comfortable, and convenient to many great restaurants as well as the beach. The SC state parks pass that allowed free access to Hunting Island was an unexpected treat! Also , the unit was very clean and had all we needed to feel like we were at home. We hated to leave! Relaxing vaca with beautiful view
I have rented alot of places over the years, but this was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in anywhere. The view is also outstanding from living room and master bedroom. The pictures don’t do it justice. The only thing I would recommended is a smart TV in living room ( there is one in master), but other than that don’t think twice about renting this place- you will love it and we will be back!

Beautiful Villa ~ Great Location
We had an enjoyable stay at the Villa. It was beautifully decorated and nicely stocked with what you will need while there. The beds were quite comfortable including the twin that this Mimi slept on. It was nice to look out over the marsh to the beach/Atlantic and the walk along the boardwalk made it easy to access the beach. We all enjoyed spending time out by the ocean and the pool/playground area in the center of the complex was quite refreshing and very nice. We drove into town each night to eat and enjoyed dinners at Foolish Frog, Fish Camp on 11th and Madisons. We also had some delicious homemade ice cream at Stellars Ice Cream Shop. Our family went to the Hwy 21 Drive In and I, Mimi, was able to relive memories of my childhood through my 7 year old grandson (even the 21 month old enjoyed watching the big screen outside). We would definitely stay in this villa should we return to the area. Thank you for a great stay!!

This was our first time staying on Harbor Island as we’ve always camped at Hunting Island. We probably won’t be camping again but staying in this condo! It was great! Clean, roomy, and an amazing sunrise view right from the bedroom! The owner Debra went over and above to make sure our stay was perfect. The Hunting Island pass was so appreciated! Great condo and location!
This was our first VRBO experience and it didn’t disappoint. The check-in process was easy and well-explained. The property was as-described, and the owner was very responsive to questions. We also loved the location, the property’s amenities, and the area in general. It’s “off the beaten path” so there are far less people than down at Hilton Head, but still had a great beach, some good local places to eat and visit, and isn’t a long drive to the more “touristy” areas, if you’re so inclined. It was a great trip!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay on Harbor Island. The condo had everything we needed to stay comfortably for 6 nights. The owner even let us stay an extra night! We stayed in several nights and cooked our own meals. I had ordered groceries online as we were driving, and we picked them up about 25minutes before we reached Harbor Island. The kitchen supplied what we needed to bake casseroles and make pasta dishes. Afterward, we would pile up on the couch and watch a movie (TV and DVD) before bed. The beach was uncrowded and fun. Only a short walk on the boardwalk to get there. A wagon this year really helped carrying our things to the beach! We saw dolphins several times in the early mornings. Just be sure to pack insect repellent for the beach! We always try to catch a drive in movie at the Hwy 21 drive in theater. It's a great experience we all enjoy! We also enjoyed our 1st horse and carriage tour around Beaufort. We were on the 1st tour of the morning, so the temperature outside was great! The tour is something I'd recommend for any age. We picked up Harbor Island t shirts at Barefoot Bubbas about a 1/2 mile on left from the entrance of Harbor. The owner is kind enough to have bought a pass for her renters to get into Hunting Island State Park. There's the lighthouse to visit on Hunting, a gift shop, and the visitor center where you may get to see the alligators in the lagoon there. Plenty of white sand and no crowd. We had a great trip and a great place to stay close to the sand. Thanks!

This was a perfect place for our new Marine. Close to everything, but far enough away from hustle and bustle. The beach access is wonderful and the views are even better. The owner is very attentive and kind. If you are lucky enough to enjoy this spot, make your first dinner stop Ladys Island Dockside. The most amazing seafood we have ever had. We went twice! Million Dollar View
We have stayed in this complex a few times before, but not on the ocean front building. We are re-building a home on Harbor Island and have been coming down for about 12 years. Harbor Island is one of the hidden jewels of South Carolina with a beautiful beach and a variety of sea birds and wildlife. From the second story window, you can view the ocean and the large sand bar that appears and disappears with the tide. The condo is very nice and we always enjoy the time we spend down here.

Just what the Dr ordered!
Tracy and I had been looking forward to a quiet, relaxing, yet entertaining vacation for months. We got exactly that here. The location of this condo is located between Charelston and Savanah on beautiful, quiet Harbor Island. The beach is very nice. The sunrises seen through the bedroom window were spectacular. There is lots to see and lots to do. The local dining establishments were excellent. The history of this area is fascinating. And if you prefer to do nothing and just stay at the condo, it's clean, cozy, comfortable and right on the beach. Perfect. Deb Larkin is really awesome. She goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great one. I highly recommend staying here.

We were able to turn our military graduation into a vacation and this property was perfect for it. Parris Island is only about 16 miles away. Beautiful place! Awesome views, peaceful island
We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was breathtaking waking up to the beautiful views of the ocean. Harbor island beach is peaceful and excellent for an evening walk (except for pesky mosquitos) or reading on the beach. Harbor Island is very unique and has a lot to offer. Our tween (11) and teen (15) enjoyed the nearby Hunting Island beach because of waves and an opportunity to discover a new place. Thank you for that Hunting Island pass- we enjoyed exploring the park: from the Nature center activities, to trails and crabbing on their marsh dock. We also recommend checking out the Boondocks restaurant nearby on St. Helena. They have daily specials, but their baked seafood plate was out of this world! The condo had everything we needed and more! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Beautiful condo for a perfect getaway!
We recently stayed at Deb’s villa on St Helena Island, SC. The condo is very spacious and perfectly set up for your vacation. Everything is there that you will need. (Be sure and bring soap. I forgot it wasn’t a hotel!). Deb is very friendly and responsive. The area is so interesting. We went to the Old Sheldon Church (church ruins about 20 miles away) and took many photographs. The graveyard there is dated back to the Revolutionary War. We had planned to go to Charleston for the day. We never made it past Beaufort. What a beautiful town! We were able to see all the beautiful old homes there without the crowds of Charleston. This was all followed by a walk on the beach before a glass of wine. A perfect weekend. One last note. We had dinner at the Bella Luna Cafe Friday night. It is right in front of the Quality Inn here on the island. Don’t be put off by the drive thru window (they also do pizza). We ordered 3 dishes (the Carbonara, Tortellini with Blue Cheese, and the Raviolis with a Red Pepper Sauce). The dishes were to swoon over! Clean villa, lovely view and stretch of the legs to the ocean. We enjoyed our stay at the villa!
One of the best parts for us was it was one of the last situated on the island so we could walk a long way with hardly an encounter with anyone else. If you go eat at Beaufort Bread Co. and Dockside!
