Really nice room and comfortable bed. Staff was polite but seemed helpless.
However....
Breakfast was poor, not even up to what you'd find as a mid-range regular corporate hotel. AND...Booked through Expedia and thought I was paying in full. BUT At checkout, I was surprised to be charged over $100 extra by the hotel, well, just because. Apparently they charge extra for having a hotel there. Does this make sense? No. Was I informed before checkout? No. This "boutique hotel" was not able to provide any more complementary bottled water than the bottle at check-in ("we don't do that"), did not replace hand towels, makeup wipes, etc. when asked, and the front desk/little amenities store was not able to change a $20 (so I could leave tips for the cleaners) because, well, "it is a holiday week." Yes, it was a holiday, but that might have been anticipated.
