"Tempting for overnight stops to go for a hotel chain so there are no surprises but this hotel confirms the merit of staying in a hotel with character in a peaceful French village. The building around a courtyard garden with an old well has much charm. We enjoyed a cold beer in the evening sun when we arrived after a long drive. A modern extension is very well disguised with a form of ivy. The rooms in this are scrupulously clean, spacious and modern with a large shower. Perhaps the rooms in the original building are more traditional? The breakfast in a room overlooking the courtyard, with a large variety of items including pastries, some cheese and cold meats, was very good. The village restaurant is next door and offers takeaway pizzas 7-9pm. Order early as there can be a wait on busy evenings. Consider arriving at lunchtime as the restaurant seems to be rated and at that time of day offers set menus starting at just over 14 Euros. "

"Plenty of room for all of us--grandparents, kids, and grandkids. A few minor things needed repair--the toilet flush handle on the downstairs bathroom was loose, and it was hard to light the gas stovetop--but we liked the house, the pool, and the location,"

"Nice clean and cheap hotel as advertised. Staff friendly and quick check in. Rooms are decent size although separate wash hand basin in room was a bit odd. Air con functional which was good as warm nights. The breakfast is good selection and no complaints. The only downside I found was location which I hadn’t realised is almost as an off shoot of main roads, between a McD and a petrol station. It is next to the Angers exhibition hall (which tbh looks a bit run down and not well used). I like to go running in mornings and found myself stuck at the side of a dual carriageway with no pavement. I ended up running round the overflow car park of the exhibition centre! Apart from that, great value and easy access to road network I guess could be a feature some people may look for. A large number of Tesla supercharger stations in the car park next to hotel."
