The owner came out with a robe egg stained and dirty. I did not stay here. Bad smell when entering. It was gross.

I know its not a great time of year for this facility but the room was not clean. The shower was disgusting and thecroom was cold. One lamp in the room provided very limited lighting. There was no housekeeping provided during my 5 nights there.

All the pictures in their website are old pictures, when we went there in August, the first thing we noticed, is that the receptionist is not there, we had to dial a number that was placed on the counter in order for him to come. Putting all that aside, the pool was all dirty, which we were expecting to use it, according to the pictures in their website. The worst is yet to come. Our room’s location was literally right in front of the parking lot which would make it impossible to sleep at night with all the cars passing by. Second their was a spider egg on top of our bed, which also was broken. Overall, we didn’t even spend one hour in this hotel. I don’t even know why this place is still open. I don’t recommend it for anyone.

The good: the person who manages the restaurant and lodging is very friendly and clearly overwhelmed with her responsibilities.The service and food at the restaurant were very good. The bad: when we checked in, there was no one to greet us and it took at least 15 minutes to complete the process, after which we learned that our room was not ready even after arriving over 1.5 hours after the check-in time. It then took their "cleaning lady" about 15-20 minutes to make the room ready; she then left an envelope for tips to buy herself "drinks." We were not given sufficient towels for 2 days (including NO hand towels), nor enough toilet paper or toiletries. The shower has permanent mold in the grout and the slide lock on our door was broken and unusable. We were not provided info on using the pools, where to find ice, or any other features of the property. If you are a camper or willing to essentially "rough it" at a place of lodging then you will like the hotel; otherwise, do not waste your money thinking you will be relaxing.There is a constant flow of rowdy individuals making a good night's sleep impossible, including music, slamming and knocking on doors, drinking and smoking outside the rooms. Very disappointed and the pictures on the website are deceiving - be forewarned.

142$ pour une nuit, drap non lavé, poussière plein la chambre, cheveux un peu partout, une chance que j'avais des couvertures dans l'auto. Piscine malpropre, je n'y retournerai pas.

The Halte was agreeable but quite noisy. It was cool (19 C) on the terrace but we decided to eat out there because it was too noisy inside. Other than that, everything was good.

What a surprising find! Restaurant good. Surroundings pleasant. Great room. Ground floor with spa tub right by pool overlooking little marina. Wi-Fi good. Will be back next year. Friendly cheerful staff.

this is a basic motel the bartender is also the receptionist a $35 motel but they charge $125 not a lot of choice in that area

My husband and I were looking for a place for 1 night while traveling from Quebec City to Montreal. The Halte worked out pefectly. Everyone was friendly, everyone spoke enough English that we could communicate with no difficulty. I wish we had bathing suits so that we could have enjoyed the swimming pools.

I was disappointed that the Internet keep shutting off on us. I was excited to relax in the spa but when I got in it the water smelled like dead fish, so I quickly got out. The shower had to be pulled on extra hard but I was told about that so we didn't get to take a shower the first night

Great room but disappointing hotel
The room was wonderful! Clean, big hot tub (we had the suite) and huge tv with a poolside view. The only downside was the staff/hotel in general. When we arrived there was nobody at the check in desk (we arrived at 3 PM which is when you're supposed to check in...) we asked the bartender and she checked us in. The bartender was new however and could not answer any of our questions. There was NO wifi (it exists but it isn't in range..) no ice machine, no staff around in general (except for one bartender). The hotel was definitely run down as well... empty pond outside, the pool inside clearly needed repairs, no lights in the hallway..etc. Overall it did the job, simply because our suite was great!

Blaring music from bar all night (loud bass through walls), with hotel rooms in same building it was hard to get to sleep. No cable TV in room and no wireless service in room. Stray cats were on room porches and parking lot. Thought it would be fun to stay away from the larger cities while touring, but it wasn't exactly the adventure we were looking for.

Accueil fastidieux, obligation de paiement en comptant par des retraits au guichet automatique privé du commerce attenant (6 $ de frais dans mon cas). Dépôt de 20$ requis pour avoir une clé. Chambre de belle taille, mobilier désuet, ampoule manquante, propreté déficiente. Le restaurant n'est ouvert que l'été. Je ne peux honnêtement recommander.

Je n'ai pas aimé l'accueil du gérant de la place. Il a refusé de nous accorder le prix que nous offrait expédia. Réservation fait le 27 mars 2023 a 8 heure 17. Les serviettes n'ont pas été changer chaque jour. La corbeilles a déchet n'a pas été vidée durant les 3 jours de notre séjour. Aucun autre entretient.

Il n'y avait pas de service. Nous avons demandé des serviettes de plus et on m'a répondu que c'était impossible et de ne pas me plaindre en raison du prix de la chambre. L'annonce parle de resto ouvert pour les repas. Il était fermé. La chambre n'était pas propre, un oreiller par personne, le tour de l'hôtel était en piteuse état. Je ne recommande vraiment pas ce lieux.
