Quebec Hotel & Resort Travel Guide

Quebec is where picture-perfect cafes line the sidewalks, towering forests surround pristine pastures, and bronze church spires glimmer in the sun. A combination of rugged landscapes, majestic mountain ranges, history-soaked city quarters, and cosmopolitan sophistication, Quebec's diversity makes it a vibrant and exciting travel destination.

The bilingual city of Montreal is surprisingly affordable, and there are many cheap hotel deals in Quebec that will put you in rooms at the center of the city at low rates. The combination of affordability, cosmopolitan dynamism, and a certain joie de vivre inspired by the French results in an irresistible city marked by swank eateries, a buzzing Quartier Latin, and world-class museums.

In the province's other major metropolis, Quebec City, visitors can stay in Quebec hotels atop the alluring Cape Diamond. The city evokes a sense of high adventure, exploration, and military history, but it is also known for its inventive cuisine, well-preserved Old Town, and Francophone spirit.

Hotels in Quebec City are most crowded during the summer, when festivals fill the parks and special museum exhibitions highlight the area's art, history, and culture. In autumn and spring, you can find the best cheap hotel deals in Quebec City, but prices tend to go up around the Winter Festival. If you can find a special discount during the festival, book it because the experience is not to be missed!

To explore the more rugged side of the province, take advantage of the Quebec hotel deals in the Eastern Townships. Southeast of Montreal, the area is known for its crisp, blue lakes, verdant rolling hills, and opportunities for outdoor adventure. Many Quebec hotel packages include activities there, including fishing and swimming in the summer, walking in the fall foliage, skiing at Mont Orford during winter, and preparing maple syrup in the spring.

If you love skiing, use a top cheap Quebec hotel deal to explore Les Laurentides. The natural paradise is especially crowded during the Christmas holidays, and reservations are recommended if you want to stay in the charming resort villages. The rocky hills will challenge even the most seasoned skiers, but there is plenty to enjoy in the area without skis, including five-star restaurants, unique boutiques, and lovely parks.

Great hotel in walking distance to everything that you could need in Montreal. Thought they were all cheap with having to pay to look after your bags per person after checking out.

    "Great location, great staff"
Came down for the Carnaval unfortunately not the best weather. The warmest February 1 and a snow storm on our departure day. Lots of fun regardless. Great museums. The museum of civilization and the art galeries in basse ville are a must. If there in winter, must visit the Ice Hotel.

"Very nice hotel in Old Quebec"
It was my third stay at this hotel. I like everything about the place. Close to everything, large rooms with a kitchen and a living room, very clean and everytime very quiet. The staff is great and has been very helpful. They prepared a breakfast to go on two occasions when I had to leave early. Overall a great place and probably the highest quality/price ratio in town. I highly recommand the place.
