First, this is a beautiful condo and location, and my family ultimately enjoyed the trip after some initial issues. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The sound view was amazing.
Unfortunately, we had several small issues early on that made the check-in stressful. First, we did not receive a check in code for our stay but received the automated email from VRBO. When realizing this during our 12-hour drive, we reached out to the host through the app. After no response, I called and left a message at the contact number. After further time, I called back and finally got the host who provided us with the lockbox code.
When we arrived to the condo (starving and tired), we found all of the dishes were put away dirty - like, really dirty with salad and other stuff stuck on them - plates, bowls, silverware. There was just a bit of toilet paper in each bathroom requiring us to go out that evening for more. There was no hand soap or other amenities, like we have found at other stays in this same complex. The kitchen had dish soap and cleaning products, but there were no pots that were not damaged or ruined. The balcony had one chair that was completely broken and one that worked but had screws sticking out. I did reach the host by text and she asked for a list of issues.
