Liked the beds

Location: Close to Oceanside beach and Carlsbad.
Bed was better than expected. We need firm beds not the over soft ones you find in most motels and these fit the bill. Breakfast choices were good. Quiet air conditioning. I'll consider staying in another Quality Inn in the future.

Pros: Good price, good proximity to what we needed.
Cons: Cleanliness, and missing curtains.
Our room was missing blackout curtains (it only had shears), and it was right next to a major walkway so we had people walking by and a light right outside the window. Luckily we managed to get the extra duvet from the bed to hang off the curtain rods, to keep some darkness and privacy in the night. The whole place was also a bit dirty feeling, although we trusted that the sheets had recently been changed, we were a little afraid to sit on the couch.

Pool water was too cold to swim. diety carpet.

Pros: Room was large.
Cons: Needs carpet shampooed as I said in The previous comment.
Location: Very close to everything.
Good deal, but we couldn't swim and walking bare foot in the room the carpet was very dirty. Needs to be shampooed.

Best value for the reasonable rate!

Pros: All employees we encountered were welcoming and smiling! The breakfast room is small, but the items are well presented and the attendant kept everything well stocked and clean. The pool area is kept clean and the chairs and tables are comfortable and in good condition. Rooms were extremely clean with plenty of pillows!
Cons: Had a hard time finding an ice machine, & when we found it we could only get a small amount of ice. Additional breakfast seating would sure be nice as both mornings we had to wait over 30 minutes for a table.
Location: Location is easy access to freeways and beaches. A shopping area is right down the street with a great selection of shops and restaurants.

Good location but that's about it

The location was great. The price was great but that was about it. The room was not cleaned very well. The shower had hair in it when we first arrived aND there was stuff left in the fridge. The second day they didn't leave a mat for after the shower. They left the blanket for the bed on the table.

Hotel needs MASSICS TLC

The location is the only thing good about this hotel, food all around and Starbucks right there, the room smelled funky almost moldy, I had the suite and was very spacious but massive needed updating, ,carpet was horrible, hole in the bathroom door, bathroom curtain had stains on it seemed hasn't been washed in months, the door to enter kept not workingn so all night and morning people were slamming the door trying to open it, cops showed up two nights we were staying... like I said only thing this hotel has is location... if the hotel did some remodeling problay be one the best ones in Oceanside

OK in a pinch

Not happy with the noisy room warm water in the sink,the telephone did not work ,the light bulbs were un-screwed so the lamps didn't work. ( I figured that out )

It was comfortable

Plus side it was a good value, had a pool, good breakfast, room was comfortable. Bad side - there were blood spots on the window drapes, the room smelled like vomit the first night. ( to be fair, the woman at the desk came right in and did her best to clean the spot), and the toilet seemed to run at multiple random times of night. I would probably give it another shot given the location was very good for everything we visited for.
