Gated community , This beautiful La Garita Spanish Colonial 3 BR Home is located in a pristine guarded community in La Garita de Alajuela. Very attractive well-maintained home and property, perfect for those who enjoy the comfort and privacy combined with a leisure lifestyle. The location is perfect: surrounded are all plant-fruit trees nurseries, shopping areas, and restaurants at close range, medical facilities close by, easy access to hwy 1, 3, and 27, the international airport is a 20-minute drive, Atenas at 15 minutes. The double-lot property measures in total 1573 m2 (0.4 acres), is beautifully landscaped, and totally fenced in with 4 security cameras. We have smartly made full use of the land and created a truly relaxing family retreat. This 3800 sq.ft (350 m2) home has a beautiful flow with many attractive details. There is a spacious living/dining room that connects to the kitchen and also directly to the outside living areas and gardens. The large master bedroom has its own 4Pc ensuite and large walk in closet. The Second Bedroom also has a walk-in closet and shares a full 3Pc bathroom with Bedroom three , both Bedroom 2 and 3 have Beautiful view of lush backyard and pool. The backyard is designed to be a fun and entertaining retreat with several sunny and shaded areas. There is an oversized swimming pool with a jacuzzi and an outdoor shower, a funky surfer Ranchito, and a large beach-sports bar-style rancho with a grilling area and comfortable lounge seating. The reviews I had read before booking this property were ALL true! This property is amazing! The pool is very beautiful and very clean. The owner of the property always communicated with us. The little fruit stand close by, on the main road, has fresh and great fruit selections. People are very friendly and kind.

Oasis Getaway
1st I want to say is thank you allowing me and my family to stay at this property. Upon arrival, our eyes was amazed by the beauty of this home. We acted like kids trying to pick dibs on the rooms. We all enjoyed the grounds, pool, area and felt so safe with having security right outside by the house. My son and I even made friends with the older security guard. I forgot his name but my son traded instagram with him. The host, Jeffrey was so great by responding to all my texts in a quickly manner. He kept me informed of who will be by the property, on what day and time and I really appreciated that. He advised me of a great place to eat, which where I took my son to celebrate his 26th birthday, amazing place. The area was so safe, that I took morning walks each day. Despite my daughter getting injured doing zip lining and having to spend a night in the hospital, the family and I had a great time. I will definitely book this home again on our next stay in Costa Rica.

Hidden Paradise
Our stay was everything we expected it to be from booking + more! The fact that the whole villas was at our expense, was great! The photos are only giving a glimpse of this wonderful stay. Spacious and filled with everything you need. It’s far away from the busy city but an 1 hour 30 min taxi/Lyft ride away from Jaco, which was where the party is! Looking for peace and a wonderful back yard filled with beautiful scenery and an amazing pool.This is your villa! Mr. Jeffery was very responsive anytime we needed to ask a question! I’d recommend this stay to anyone, just have a rental car or be prepared for Lyft/taxis!

Wonderful Home to Enjoy Yourself.
I contacted the owner of this property, asking about a somewhat long stay, and he graciously accommodated our request. Upon arrival we saw that the home was as pictured beautifully landscaped in a lovely community. The owner met us at the house and toured us Around the property. He made us aware of a light system that you can turn on at night, which makes the backyard a magical place to sit and enjoy the evening. We swim in the pool daily. Enjoyed leisure time in the house and slept well in comfortable beds and enjoyed our trips into a Atenis, La Garita and the surrounding areas. This home is very well located to get you quickly to the coast, the mountains and all of the activities you would wish to do while visiting Costa Rica. We also enjoyed staying at the property swimming daily, and having lovely meals on the patio at night. Jeff stayed in touch with us throughout our stay always making sure we had what we needed and that we were enjoying our time. The community is quiet and the gate guards are very nice and helpful. I would suggest this home to anybody that wants to fully enjoy their time in Costa Rica. Thank you Jeff for allowing us the use of your beautiful home. We will be speaking with you again on our next trip to Costa Rica.

Staying at this house is like having your own private little resort. The pool and the grounds are gorgeous, and the interior is very nice as well, with comfortable beds and A/C. The location is quiet and suburban, not crowded or busy, but only 20min from the airport and 45min-1hr to downtown depending on traffic. It's also a good base to get to many waterfalls, volcanoes, or even the Pacific Coast in less than 90min. Communication with the property manager was great, extremely responsive, and he even was able to track down my wallet after I left it in a restaurant in Grecia... thank God.

Easy to find gate security let us in very kindly, BEAUTIFUL BIG house with an amazing back yard. Clean, friendly host we only stayed one night because we had to close to the airport and we wish we would have booked a longer stay. Worth every pennie plus more and it was not expensive. We actually want to buy the place!

Beautiful home and an absolutely stunning yard
We stayed at this property on the very last day of our vacation and all of us wished we had more time at this beautiful house. I can’t say enough how amazing the yard and pool area are. It truly is a little hidden paradise. Hosts were very attentive and helpful. The home had every amenity we could have hoped for and was only a short 20 minute drive to the airport.

The outdoors provided several gathering spaces and beautiful trees in addition to the lovely pool. We enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor dining table. The bedrooms all had ceiling fans and A/C so sleeping was comfortable which is what we mostly did here. We had a full day adventure so appreciated the washer/dryer. We didn't spend much time here but felt safe with the security gate and the garage. Owner was very communicative.

This is a great property super close to the airport. The backyard pool area has everything you need to hang out and enjoy friends and family. Beds are comfortable and has awesome wood accents throughout. Highly recommend!

Property is located in an easily accessible location. The house itself is nice with plenty of room for the family or friends. But the backyard is what amazes with a resort style feel with the large pool to the rancho. Plenty of seating and night lightning making you feel that your truly on vacation in your own space. Would highly recommend this house as communication with owner is quick and helpful and the house itself outperforms the pictures and makes you feel at home.

House is beautiful as seen in the pictures. The hosts were always attentive and available for any questions or concerns. We didn’t spend too much time in the house because there’s so many beautiful places to visit in Costa Rica but, if you like barbecuing and enjoy a swim in the pool this might be a good choice. Our family had the most wonderful time at Jeffrey and Yvette’s gorgeous place! They were extremely warm and welcoming and their house is beautiful, spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Their backyard and patio area is absolutely stunning! The pool is a gorgeous blue tile with several sitting areas…not only next to the pool, but another cozy covered area with very comfortable couches and chairs, as well as an upper sitting area with a great bar! In addition, the grounds are lovely with so many beautiful flowers and trees, and in the evening the outdoor lighting makes the place truly seem magical and enchanted. Jeffrey and Yvette were so incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they did everything to make sure we had a comfortable stay and were so helpful and responsive to our questions. We cannot recommend this place more highly—our family had the most wonderful stay and we hope to return one day!
