"We were 24 friends celebrating life! We fell in love with the place and the hosts! Amedeo & Rosanna are the best! They were always available for anything we needed which is was not too much to be honest. They also have amazingly friendly staff to help. We had lots of fun, enjoyed the pool and hanging out. The property is a lot bigger than expected and feels so peaceful. Also, it is located within a 10 minute drive to a beautiful little town that has everything you need, from supermarkets to great bars and restaurants. The town also has a train station that can connect you to bigger cities such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre, etc. This was a vacation we will not forget and I recommend this place to everybody!"

"Good value for a stay in the mountains! The staff is very friendly. Even though only 2 out of 3 nights were booked in a Classic room, they upgraded us to a Superior room - which unfortunately is still a bit small. However, the view of the mountains, and fantastic breakfast (beautiful restaurant in separate building up the hill) makes up for it! We wanted to have dinner there, but restaurant was unfortunately closed for dinner over the weekend. On last night, a big bus load of teenage students checked-in that was very noisy until about midnight. But I more so blame it on the teachers/supervisors who should have been better at controlling the kids. Oh well ..."

"It was so wonderful to be up in the hills of Tuscany and enjoying the outdoors. The house was so charming and historic We were able to walk up to an excellent restaurant in another historic building. As well, it was so close to Lucca and the train station. My husband has been all over the world and he said it was his best trip he’s ever taken! Thank you for the experience! Sue Mahoney"

"Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet area! House was very clean and the garden was beautiful . We did not have a car , but Diego helped us communicate with the local taxi service. Taxi took us into the town of Barga when we needed and picked us up ! Diego was also very quick to respond and willing to help out with anything we needed . Great experience. Thank you !"

"What an absolutely beautiful spot. The Villa was everything we hoped for and the view was spectacular! Cuoco Adriana made us a fabulous meal on our second night. The road down to the villa is a bit tricky but we mastered it on no time. Just be patient and slow. The location was perfect for our travels to Pisa , Firenze and Cinque Terre! Each doable in a day and back in time for a late dinner on the terrace. Make sure you leave enough room for the garbage man to turn around or you will hear him yell throughout the valley.
