"Clean modern rooms. We stayed 2 nights here. Cons: Our bidet was leaking water from the hose connection which caused the room to smell badly of sewage, hotel staff were able to fix it after the first night. Breakfast was mediocre with limited options included. Birds kept landing on the serving utensils at buffet breakfast, not sure how they could prevent that but not the cleanliest. Pros: Amazing location right on the beach with a good size pool! The room aircon works great had to turn off at times as was too cold in our room. Showers had warm water. The staff were super friendly and welcoming! Accepts credit cards at there restaurant and was reasonably priced!.Overall we would definitely stay here again 😊"
"Our stay at Coconut Garden Resort was unforgettable! Nestled on the beautiful Cagnipa Island, it felt like our own private paradise. Although the forecast predicted rain, we were lucky to enjoy two full days of sunshine—perfect for exploring and relaxing.
The house reef just off the beach was a highlight—amazing snorkeling right at our doorstep! The resort's menu and food exceeded our expectations—fresh, flavorful, and with great variety. Every meal felt like a treat.
The staff were fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and always ready with a smile. And we absolutely loved the resort dogs, Momo and Toytoy—sweet, friendly companions who made the experience feel even more homey.
The boat shuttle to and from Port Barton was scenic and smooth, adding to the adventure. For most of our stay, we had the whole island to ourselves, which made it incredibly peaceful and special. A group of about 15 guests arrived after we left, so we really got to enjoy that serene, castaway vibe.
If you're looking for a unique, off-the-beaten-path island experience with great hospitality and natural beauty, Coconut Garden Resort is the perfect escape. We’re already dreaming of coming back!"
"The staff were really helpful . Rooms clean, just a bit well used and dated. Beach area very clean. Rooms cleaned on request. Easy walk along the beach to main bars . Beautiful restaurant next door . Great sunsets. "
"When you enter the property gate, you find a beautifully laid out courtyard. Reception and the dining area is small, and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and I found mine quite spacious. The owner, Juvy and her son Karl, were absolutely wonderful. They provided great advice in terms of what to see and rendered assistance regarding my transportation issues both coming to Port Barton, and leaving. The owner goes out of her way to make your stay a comfortable one. Breakfast basics are included, and if you want anything extra, the prices are very reasonable. This property is great value for money and I strongly recommend it. I’ll definitely book with them again when I return to Port Barton "
"We booked 3 rooms on separate bookings and on arrival there was no rooms available.
Owner tried to put all 3 of us in the same room with no discount.
While at the property I discussed refund with hotels.com but following enquiry no refund was given and I also had to find alternative accommodation "
"Great service, beautiful beach and surroundings. It just had everything you need for a beach trip and they organise you tours and shared transportations."
