“Room was clean ok breakfast”

“We enjoyed our stay. Location was good. The breakfast was lacking. The coffee was awful, no juice at all the machine ran clear liquid. We purchased a drink out of the machine. Our room smelled musty; however, I think it was from the air conditioner unit. Our stay wasn't awful it was fine and we managed. We drove to McDonald's every morning.”

“They had a good breakfast with lots of choices. The pool was smaller and cold. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. We had ants on the third floor It was close to Walmart and gas stations and food options. Good location.”

“The breakfast menu was very good, but some gluten-free options would have been appreciated. Room service was great.”

“Room needs remodeling, tv worked on and off, wallpaper was peeling and bubbling on the walls.”

“The hotel is under some renovation with pool and fitness area while we were there. Otherwise everything was terrific!!”

“Enjoyed my stay here. Good location easy to get to main Madison district and good view of the river. Exterior looks dated but don’t let that put you off as the rooms are renewed and have high quality towels and bedding. Helpful staff and I really enjoyed the comfortable recliner in the room after riding a motorcycle through the area all day. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!”
