We stayed here during our total eclipse experience in Ohio. The hotel was clean, quiet and very convenient. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

The property is like a Holiday Inn with more kiddie options during the warm months. The hotel does not have food or a bar and it is not within walking distance of a restaurant other than McDonalds and Dairy Queen. It's about a 5-mile drive to the nearest sit-down restaurants. There is no lobby with seating, coffee or water. You can buy over-priced coffee and water at a hotel gift shop that only takes cards, no cash. The staff was friendly at the front desk, and the maid service was outstanding.

Great place to stay
Nice clean hotel very close to Cedar Point. The offer from Hotels.com was $30 dollars less than the nightly rate. We went to Halloweekends and back the next day. We received early entry passes and were able to ride 4 of the long wait coasters in just 1 hour. Well worth the stay.

Took 15 minutes to check in and the bathroom in our room wasn't cleaned properly (toothpaste smeared on the sink). Every clock in the hotel was off by several minutes which made us late. Beds were comfortable though.

The check in was quick, I like contactless check out. The only complaint is the blanket on the bed was very light and there were no extra blankets in the room.

No breakfast options or restaurants in hotel. No transportation available to cedar point. Pool was under construction. Beds are super hard to the point where I actually looked under the bedding to see if there were wood planks instead of mattress. Rooms were 2 star quality. Im not understanding why it cost as much as it did to stay here. There are nicer places nearby to stay for less.

It was nice and quiet. What would make it better if you could have a late checkout after a long night at the park on Halloweekends. That would be nice also if you stay on Cedar Point property 4 fast passes should be included in your room stay.

The room was not clean. Wrappers and bottle caps on floor. Bathroom had hair in sink and shower that were not ours. The tables had sticky stuff on them. Could've wrote "dust me"on the tv. The fitted sheets were way too small. They came off as soon as you sit on the hard bed. The exhaust fan in bathroom was bad. My son moved a pillow and a big black spider came crawling out. We could hear people running the halls all night. Pictured is the bathroom exhaust fan that never shut off.

I really liked the Cedar Point Express Hotel. It’s conviniently located right down the street from Cedar Point. Staff was friendly and room was very neat and clean. There are pictures of roller coasters on the walls in the room which is a nice touch. There are also tons of restaurants nearby to get a bite to eat. They have a nice gift shop too right near the lobby with Cedar Point merch. All in all was a great trip and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Hotel is good for what we needed. I however was unimpressed with the dirty sink that I found when I went to brush my teeth. Someone’s hair and a big clump of toothpaste that was not from my party. That’s just gross.
