"Hourikan was wonderful in every aspect. Dinner with glistening light from the garden made the whole atmosphere magical! Swrvice was top notch. The room with private onsen was breathtaking! Very new (probably renovated recently), clean and huge! Every decoration shows Japanese heritage. Will come back again to stay!"

"Although not within close proximity to train station, which is what we'd have preferred, the hotel is just a short walk from a bus stop - there are two buses that can bring you there from the Miyako train station. Buses run regularly during the day - be sure to grab a bus schedule at the train station or the tourist information center situated right next door.
