This hotel was a prefect spot for my wife and I to experience the best of Santa Barbara! The hotel and room were in great shape and offered plenty in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The location was by far the best with plenty of dining, shopping and entertainment options. Definitely will be coming back for another stay.

First time at this hotel. The architecture of the hotel is spectacular. Room was odd. Had to step up to get to bathroom. It’s a bit tired. The good news is it’s being refurbished. Image it will be great when done.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Hotel Santa Barbara. As we love vintage buildings, we make it a point to stay in old hotels. Our room was small and cozy, as was the bathroom. Both of what we expected. The hotel is in the process of being renovated, that said the carpet/paint/furnishings were tired. We loved the location. We could walk to the Courthouse, and the museums. State Street features many great restaurants, but we loved Joe’s Cafe located directly across the street from the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

All about the location! Room was very small, however were well appointed and quiet. Have to valet park there $30 per day. Valet staff great but not available before 7am which was not great for our circumstances. Front desk staff was not very welcoming.

This charming little gem is the best of SB. Wonderful location, spotless room, and literally the friendliest staff ever. When they heard I recently earned my PhD, I was surprised with a congratulatory card & champagne in our room. We will definitely be back!
