Nice hotel with friendly staff.

It's an older hotel so it had that older smell to it. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Loud

Posted Jan 9, 2017
Pros: Easy check in and good location.
It was loud all through the night. Could hear everything from toilets flushing to elevator to people. There was also a funky smell in the room each time you came in.

Beautiful, classic charm.

Room was amazing. Heated tile floor in the bathroom, jetted tub, steam shower. I felt like a princess. Hotel decorations for the holidays are gorgeous.

Charming vintage, convenient central location

Posted Nov 18, 2016
Although I was traveling on business, this location would be ideal for a base-camp to explore the area. Although small, the rooms are well appointed, very comfortable, with abundant hot water and the softest of robes.

Old hotel with old style elevator

Posted Nov 18, 2016
Pros: Stuffs are nice.
Cons: Provide water in the room.
Location: It is located near the highway entrance and it is at road intersection.
Room looks really different from the picture. My room is old and small, and there is no free water provided. However, the stuff is really nice.

Elegant with an old world with a modern flair

Posted Nov 13, 2016
Pros: Loved the marble, simple elegant decor, & clean. The heater outside the shower is amazing! A beautiful mix of old and new!!!
Cons: The carpeting could use replacing. It looks old and doesn't match the rest of the gorgeous hotel.
Location: Location is perfectly located!! Near GREAT restaurants and shopping.
Perfectly located in Montecito. Walking distance to FABULOUS restaurants (LUCK'S Restaurant next door) & shops. The hotel is beautiful, clean and staff very helpful! Also love the history of this fantastic hotel!!!

don't judge a place by its cover

Posted Nov 11, 2016
Pros: its proximity to the freeway
Cons: someone could be in charge of running the old style elevator for the customers. It was difficult to open the door and gate while carrying stuff
Location: not much to tell
it was alright, but it certainly could use some more updating. My room although clean was very small including the bathroom. Not enough counter top space for your sundries, hair appliances etc.

Great staff and location!

Location: Walk to beach and great restaurants
Nice clean rooms, but you are close to the freeway. Didn't bother us a bit though

Great location. Awesome value.

Pros: Walking distance to everything. Montecito is a lovely town. You don't really need to leave.
Cons: Road construction in front. No cafe in hotel right now.
Location: Jeannine's bakery is great for breakfast. Beach is right down the street. Santa Barbara is 10 minutes away.
