A pretty guest house with lots of beautifying elements, but missing a few key items. No AC, so open the windows, but no screens, so the mosquitos bite. Very poor WiFi. Weak telephone signal. Our shower wouldn’t drain on first night, but we mentioned that and was improved next day, though still backed up a bit. Staff are young and friendly and try their best to be helpful. Clean and comfortable beds. Big TV with lots of Italian channels plus a few good U.S. streaming service for free. If WiFi was great and screens on windows, or working AC, would book again. Oh - and communication by telephone with hotel in advance of trip was impossible. Sondar needs to unify online telephone numbers and have a working front desk phone that dependably is answered or has an answering machine with English greeting. Very good in baggage storage and advice on finding local stores.

Not clean. There were flees in the room and bit me. Hotel staff refuse to admit it's hotel's problem and didn't refund my money. And wifi signal in ground floor room is terrible, I need to stand close to the door to get internet signals. Terrbile experience ever!!! 不要住这里，房间不干净，网络信号差，工作人员态度很差。

Hotel well located, friendly staff. The room? Dated and a little dark... Bedding terrible, uncomfortable mattress, awful pillows. Tiny bathroom with shower that leaked all over floor. Carpet on floor of hotel room- didn’t seem quite clean... Walls super thin, we could hear someone snoring in the room next to us. Not a pleasant experience. I would book elsewhere next time

Great location, shabby hotel
The hosts of the hotel were very helpful and lovely. The location was excellent and the breakfast spread was quite nice as well. Unfortunately the room itself was really outdated, uncomfortable and made me question the hotel's 3 stars to the point where we didn't want to go back to the room during the day. I would say it's a 2 star hotel although the hosts and location make it a nice stay.

Perfect small hotel. The staff was welcoming and friendly and very willing to offer assistance with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions. Room was clean,good sized and bathroom had been recently remodeled. Breakfast offerings were ample. I will stay there again on my next visit to Florence.

The hotel is a little tired, but the staff were friendly. No lift, and I wasn't offered help with my bag - I'd have said no anyway but it would have been nice to have been asked. My room was very small, on the first floor and overlooking the street. Had I been travelling with a partner I'd have been a bit annoyed but it was only me so i wasn't too fussed at the size of the room. No hot breakfast, just usual Italian cold fare - cake, boiled eggs, meats, bread etc. After staying in a similar place in Venice I had assumed that lower end Italian hotels were just a bit tired, dingy and dated, but I moved on to Bologna after this trip and stayed in a wonderful hotel, light, bright, spacious, and the same price. Good location here, a 10 minute walk from the centre of things, on the banks of the river. Don't expect luxury, but you will get a warm welcome.

Terrific
It's a very pleasant stay, the hotel is right beside the river which has an excellent view. Most of the tourist attractions are in walkable distance, and supermarket and self service laundry are just at the corner. The staffs are very friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast was better than expected. Everything was great, except that there's no elevator, but it's only one floor so it wasn't too inconvenient.

To Florence with Love
This is a family run hotel, Barbara and Emmanuel where friendly and knowledgeable, greeting us each time we arrived or left they were also very pleasant and helpful, making sure our stay was comfortable and we had what we need. Barbara is fluent in English and suggested places we should see and where the best ice cream was. They were always conversing with their guests in a friendly but definitely not overbearing way. Just giving the personal touch of a family environment. Our room was large for a European hotel with a bar fridge perfect bathroom and shower, well supplied with towels and linens. The breakfast was a great start to the morning, with a special treat outside of the regular breakfast items each morning (chocolate cake one morning, quiche another etc...) We loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The location along the river and a 10 minute walk from the old town is a plus, as is the attentive and caring staff. The room was clean and neat; the breakfast was good to excellent. The price is right. The “yes, but”? – the place is old, the carpeting threadbare and the furniture is dated. Not much of a complaint considering the price, location and considerate staff, but noteworthy, nonetheless.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel is ideally located with easy access on foot and by car. Private car parking can be arranged by the hotel for a small surcharge. The hotel management is extremely friendly and helpful.

Good stay with an extremely helpful staff!
My girlfriend and I stayed there for 1 night and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is pretty close to everything. It cost about 10 Euros to get from Santa Maria Novella Train Station to the hotel via taxi. Our shower was clogged when we got there but they sent someone up right away to fix it. The only bad thing is that the rooms are a little outdated; however, the staff definitely make up for it.

Privilege Hotel is really nice. Super clean, great service. Very nice (but not extraordinary) breakfast included. Bus line 23 stops nearby and runs to main train station. Duomo is a pleasant 15 minute walk. Not super touristy, which is nice.

The front desk staff went out of their way to help me solve issues with getting money from an ATM (required a collect call to the States) and with getting a new SIM card for my cell phone (and showing me how it worked afterwards). They were superb.

Nice Florence Hotel
Very helpful and courteous staff; a little standoffish at first, but quickly demonstrated typical Italian hospitality. Hotel is very clean, very comfortable, and within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants in Florence. We plan on returning to Florence for a longer stay, and would definitely stay at this hotel.

Pleasing experience.
Well managed hotel. Owner is extremely active. Not many staff members. On checking in at 10.30 am hotel could not assure to give room before 1 pm. So as per the advice of hotel staff, had to go out to see Uffizi and returned at 5 pm. No regret.

Perfect location to see the sights.
This hotel was located right on the water a few blocks from the museums and the Duomo, shopping and restaurants close by. We were a family of four and had a very large room. The hotel manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a large selection in a nice room. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

1st vist to Florence
The hotel is small but the rooms are a good size for american standards, the bathroom shower was a little small but not all room have shower most have tubs. The staff was somewhat friendly but gave us directions to supermarket where you can get water for like 50 cent, snacks, etc. the hotel is 5 to 10 min walk from all attractions and transportation. Great location, Great view and Free internet.
