Reasonable location, about 20 minutes walk uphill from Amalfi ferry, but don't do it with luggage as the road is narrow in parts and busy with traffic!
Great view from our room and the air conditioning was a life-saver.
We didn't know, but they can help you with transfers from the ferry and to/from the aiport. Would have been good to know that before we paid 30EUR for a 4-minute tuk-tuk ride up the hill when we arrived, and we had also booked the bus to the airport before we got there.
You can't have your own food and drink here, which we thought was a miss as it meant we had to eat out every night. One night in particular we just wanted to grab a pizza and sit on the terrace to enjoy with the view but we weren't able to do that.
Overall, okay place to stay but I think I'd try somewhere else next time.

Beautiful hotel set in the perfect location for a stay in Positano.
The most friendly and helpful team of staff with a lovely, warm and welcoming hotel manager!
Breakfast has something for everyone, sweet treats, fruit, salads, hot breakfast and cereals. We even had an amazing pianist on our last day.
Do not miss out on the included sunset boat ride at 5pm. Absolutely beautiful!
We will definitely be back to stay at the Palazzo Murat

But place is noisy when night club is on Saturday and other nights people are often doing party in their room! So not super quiet!!!

"The room I was given was miles away from the lobby, felt like I was shoved in the corner of a neighbouring hotel that had been merged into this hotel. The pool system is odd. I stayed one night and was informed I could not use the pool because I had checked out. Breakfast was okay, nothing amazing. ..."
