This property was as advertised! We had an excellent time and the location was perfect. Only a few miles from Seaside if you like shopping but far enough to be away from the crowds otherwise. The beach was great as well.

I am not one to leave reviews but I am going to leave the review I wish I could have read before deciding to book this house. Disappointing does not begin to describe it. I've never tried more not to be in a house during a trip than I have in this one. The neighborhood is tired and doesn't give you that Seaside/Seagrove vibe and the house is tired and needs A LOT of updates. There's black active mold all over this house, in the master bathrooms ceilings, in the stairways, in the rusted vents to the point where I was concerned for my small children's health. Not to mention the house smells of mildew. How this has not been mentioned in previous reviews is mind blowing. There were food stains on furniture, rugs, dried contacts on dressers, hair balls everywhere. The kitchen table chairs were all stained with food and the couches no longer white. It was just gross. There was an overwhelming bad smell coming from the room on the 1st floor that lingered into the kitchen. The pool area was left a mess from the previous family and sand all in the pool. The pool wasn't cleaned once during our week stay. The trash doesn't get picked up until Monday, so you stare at overflowing trash from the previous family in front of the house for 2 days. The only saving grace of this house is it's location, which is amazing. Steps to the private beach that's not crowded was amazing and the only thing that got us through the week.

Dear Andrea, We are very sorry Seahorse Landing didn't meet your expectations. As the owner, I will address your comments: 1. Our housekeepers normally receive good reviews and this is an outlier. Amanda (our property manager) did offer to send someone out to re-clean after you contacted her, which you declined. 2. Trash pickup is twice a week, and depending on your arrival day, there may be trash in the outside 3 trash cans. I'm afraid we don't control Walton County trash pickup. 3. As for our house being "tired" we constantly are updating and maintaining but it is a beach house and everything is not brand new. We do expect the house to be clean and comfortable and well-appointed. This will be addressed immediately. 4. In terms of your general complaints about the "area," we love our location in Seagrove, private beach and gated street and appreciate the lack of overcrowding. 5. The pool is cleaned twice weekly, but does get sand in the bottom in between cleanings. 6. As for the mildew, that should have been addressed by the house keepers or property manager before your arrival. It has been exceptionally hot and humid, but mildew is not acceptable. We have over 100 reviews, with the overwhelming majority being 5 star. We are proud of that and truly regret your bad experience. We hope you will return to 30A and find somewhere you love.

We really loved this house. It was seconds from the beach. Great little neighborhood. The beds were great. Lots of options in the kitchen. It was nice with the extra chairs and floating devices. The rooms are smaller than then the pictures.

A beachfront gem!
This house was wonderful! Clean, bright, open with a fun little pool and so close to the beach. The kitchen is unusually well stocked which was a delight. We can not wait to stay here again!

Great 4th July stay.
Ease of access to house great. Plenty of space. Straight short walk to beach—5 min. Plunge pool perfect for small kids. Crows nest great spot to watch 2 big fireworks shows.

Great Vacation House
This property made for a great week on 30a! The location is perfect, only a few steps from the private beach walkway. The listing provided all the information we needed prior to our arrival. The kitchen was well stocked. The second fridge was perfect for all our drinks for the week. The bedrooms were very nice and accommodated our party perfectly. We enjoyed the balcony and the porch by the pool for visiting. The plunge pool is a great addition and was nice to enjoy on the double red flag days at the beach. Another bonus was the provided beach chairs!! The property manager is very nice and responds quickly. This location was great and we will definitely return!

Met every expectation
This house could not have served our family any better. It was very clean and couldn’t have been any closer to the water without being on the water. The house was well maintained and well stocked. The beach was private and pristine. Communication was very crisp and timely responses were always received. We would highly recommend this home for your next vacation. My only real complaint is that it was made very clear that beach did not allow tents however multiple tents were in fact set up and when I approached one person they said they knew they weren’t allowed and were going to just risk it. Several families did and successfully had tents all week. We had a family of 11 so a tent would have been a lot easier so it was frustrating that the rule wasn’t really enforced. I would just say if there are rules then the premises should be monitored. Hands down this was one of the best beach vacations we’ve taken and the house and experience it offered was a huge part of why it was so successful.

So glad you loved the house and were treated well. Our HOA asks that everyone place tents on the "back 1/3" of the beach. It's an honor system, and I'm sorry everyone wasn't considerate. We will ask our chair vendor to remind those who can't abide by the rules.

The best thing about this property is the location. You truly can't have something better. It's right next to the boardwalk and crazy convenient with small children. The house is decorated nicely -- all around it was wonderful.

Great location!
This house is nearly as close to the beach as you can be (just a short boardwalk from the house to the sand). The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the second “drink” fridge. The host communicated very well and we didn’t have any issues during our stay. We would stay here again!

Great low-key locale!
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, the kitchen was really well stocked, and all TVs were smart and the wifi was great. Proximity to beach was top notch! My only downsides were besides the master on the 2nd floor the rooms are pretty small and it was a squeeze with our party. Also the pool is a nice touch and was fine but was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. Other than that we loved the house and location and would return!

Great family house close to the beach
It was everything as advertised. I was a little worried the living room would be too tight for all of us but it was fine with the dinner table and kitchen being right there. Plenty of extra bedroom space for us all to spread out. Small pool was perfect for our little ones. Beach service was excellent. Couldn't ask for better access to the beach boardwalk right in front of the house. Nice to spray off at the back gate. It would be nice if they replaced the shower head at the back gate to shower off. Would be an easy fix. Close to everything but quiet neighborhood.

The Seahorse
Property location was wonderful. Nice updates to the kitchen (which had everything you needed), downstairs bath, owners suite and attached bathroom. Dining room furniture is tired as is the lr/fr furniture. Having the pool was awesome and as advertised cleaned 2x a week. Also, appreciated the provided beach chairs and umbrellas. Weather was great and favorite restaurants were excellent with short wait times. Overall, we had a very enjoyable week.

Seahorse was a well appointed home with world class views of the ocean. The host thought of all our needs ahead of check in. The balcony and crows nest were great for morning coffee and sunset toasts. The kids loved the pool too!

This house is perfect for a family vacation for all ages. We had a family of 12 (6 adults, 6 kids age range from 1-12) everyone had their own space and we weren’t on top of each other. The location of the house couldn’t be more perfect, so close to a private beach and so close to many shops and restaurants. The pool is very small but was perfect for the little kids. Amanda was amazing to work with and very quick with responses regarding the house and with anything else such as restaurants, activities and places to go. We would stay here again and would recommend it to our family and friends.

We loved the house! Great view of the ocean from the master bedroom (2nd floor) and nice glimpses from the family room (1st floor). Nice gated community of ~10 houses. Board walk to beach is just 15-20 ft from the pool. Beds and linens were very comfy. The kitchen has everything needed to prep and cook meals…..we didn’t utilize it much, as we enjoy breakfast/brunch and dinner out. A few suggestions for the 1st floor bathroom: add a few small shelves on the wall around the sink — not much counter top for toiletries, etc. And adding a cafe curtain or shade to the kitchen window would provide privacy for the bathroom……small bathroom is toasty when drying hair with the door closed….a window treatment for kitchen window would help. Will definitely plan to return as our group does an annual trip to Seagrove!

We loved this property! The property manager is very responsive and helpful with anything you need. It’s literally a 1-2 minute walk to the beach and the beach is very private. Love the crows nest and porch to sit on and enjoy the view. The beach chairs and umbrellas provided are also very good quality. Also appreciated that they had a pack n play and booster seat for our infant.

This is a fabulous property! This was our 4th visit with all of our family (8 adults/1 infant) and this year we celebrated our 40th anniversary here. The house is very comfortable and convenient for the area. Our family dearly loves being here and it is a very special place. We have made some great memories here. We will return again!

Lovely home and great location!
Everything was very convenient. Plenty of rooms and beds. Location is super! Couldn’t be any closer to the beach access, and it’s in the middle of 30A. Only negative is the pool is tiny. Lots of fun watching the lizards. Might consider having someone pull weeds but I would definitely go back to this house!

A success for our large family group!
This property was beautiful and looked just as pictured. Just steps from the beach! The pool is perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. Our kids loved this feature. Amanda was quick to respond to a need that we had when there was an issue with the water heater. It was fixed quickly and we were able to continue our stay in Florida and had the best time! Thank you Amanda for your amazing customer service and taking care of us. Our stay was fantastic! Can’t wait to come back!

First and foremost, Ms Amanda went above and beyond accommodating us when we needed help with arrival. Then we have never stayed in such a well stocked house. The house was so close to the beach and the pool was great after a day at the beach.

The house was absolutely perfect - from the superior cleanliness to the amazing ocean views to the perfect location! Plenty of space for the kids to spread out. We loved being able to listen to the ocean waves while sitting out by the pool and spot dolphins from the deck and crow’s nest!
