Once we got there we notified the owner that there was food in the fridge and the fridge was dirty. She told us it was her food and asked that we do not throw it away. The next day it was Thanksgiving and we were cooking therefore we had to clean the fridge and we placed her things to the side in order to accommodate our food. We immediately noticed that this entire condo was not clean and we began to take pictures. There was dust everywhere, the bathrooms had hair in every shower, we also found dog hairs. The outside of the toilets and showers were not clean. We spent the first day cleaning the condo sweeping and scrubbing down everything. It was obvious that it was not professionally cleaned. When I advised her of this and sent her pictures she said the pictures were not of her condo which was ridiculous, We made sure to show her accurate pics so she would know where the uncleanliness was and in what rooms and areas of the house. I asked her to show me a receipt of when she had the condo recently cleaned for our arrival and she never responded. No apology or anything she went ghost. We paid a cleaning fee included in our balance, if we paid don't others. Also she controlled the heat, we were not able to make any adjustments to it, it was as if it stopped working but we could hear it being turned on and off. We will never again rent from this person to professionally clean for your guest is a no brainer and a must it is unsanitary not to do so in this time of covid.
