The overall experience was very disappointing. The website listed the property as "luxurious and quite" and it was neither of those things. There was construction going on while we were there...so the pounding we could hear at various times of the day. Plus there was a construction dumping section right next to the pool. Luxurious wasn't even close. The rooms were spacious which was a plus, but they were damp (caves). The bones are there, and I could see that they were trying but it was not what we'd hoped for. The shower didn't have a curtain so the water would splash everywhere, so you'd have to deal with a wet floor and put towels to soak up the water, walking through dampness. The manager shouldn't be in hospitality. At times he was very rude and bad vibes, and at times he seemed sort of pleasant. This is terribly overpriced for what we got. Overall super disappointed. There are lots of really great properties on Santorini but this one didn't meet any of our expectations. I'll end on a positive note, the beds were comfortable, and when I requested more pillows our sleeping experience was moderately good.

When we booked the pictures shows breakfast by the pool, beautiful property When we got there pool & the hotel were under construction, they start banging 8am, we found our breakfast in the fridge it was a package of bologna, tub of yogurt, 2 oranges n bread kitchen was bare, the room is spacious but we cant enjoy the terrace aside from construction noise there wasn't any shade and the Santorini sun can be deadly during the summer...the Manager Sammy was very gracious, however we truly didn't get what we paid for

Peaceful retreat!
Experienced traditional cave accommodations! We had a 1 bedroom Villa which was spacious and reasonably priced. Oia is a 10 minute walk from Ambelia Traditional Villas which is located in the traditional settlement of Finikia. Oia is very beautiful but so is peaceful rustic Finikia. Breakfast, lunch or dinner only a 5 minute walk away at local restaurants with great service and delicious authentic Greek food. Sammy the manager is very friendly and accommodating. We were on a first name basis from the get go. Sammy thank you for contributing to a wonderful stay in Santorini.

The only good thing about this property is the staff very helpful property manager Sami snd his crew The unit is very disappointing poorly or hardly furnished. Very uninviting place to stay because how’s its furnished to the bare minimum. The location of the villa is way at the bottom of the hill with many steps and steep walkways. Description of the property doesn’t state such which can be very challenging for someone with less than average health condition staff helped with luggage down to the unit But dealing with these steep up and down pathways more than one time a day trying to go about to explore snd see santorini is not a pleasant thing you have to deal with in addition to the 15 walk to Oia Center once you get up to the top from the unit. We were very exhausted with all of that going on. Then to come at the end of the day to a place that is not even appropriately furnished and does not provide any comfortable place to sit on to rest or relax was very disappointing. No TV AC was in the living room only which didn’t provide any cool air in the bedroom that got very warm at night time Overall experience is not pleasant We only want yo thank Sami and his crew for their hard work and being very informative and helpful
