Enjoyed our stay at The Ballastone very much. First time to Savannah and it was the perfect place. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the old Savannah home and learning its history, as well as about the area during a walking tour--highly recommend doing one. Great location for walking to restaurants and shopping but quiet. Breakfast pastries were delicious. Nice to have the living area as a gathering option. Our room was very clean, nicely done with antiques, fireplace, and a king fourposter comfortable bed. Bathroom small but clean.

Magnificent historic home right in the middle of historic district. Staff was welcoming, helpful and shared some great stories about the history of the place. Super convenient to everything and we walked everywhere. Definitely coming back on our next trip to Savannah!
