Scheiblingstein Vacations from $2,002

Staff was really helpful but that's about it. The location is a bit away from all the restaurants but it's manageable. However the property itself is VERY dated. Really old yellow rooms, small dingy 40s TV that's not tuned to any channels, dusty things, rust in the water pipes making the water a bit brown and only 2 working sockets in the room that are far away from bed. The fire exit plan in the room had totally different floor plan and would be absolutely useless in case of any emergency. The whole hotel needs a proper redo and deep clean. Won't recommend unless you're in a money pinch and don't mind a soviet style stay.

The room was very clean, staff very helpful, the location is convenient to a local transport.

I wish I could give this hotel less than one star. The only reason I booked this hotel was because of its restaurant overlooking the Danube River. However, there was absolutely no mention at the time of booking that the restaurant would be closed during our entire stay. This was extremely disappointing and misleading. The location of the hotel was terrible and looked nothing like the photos online. The room was also very dirty. There was no proper reception, and there wasn’t even a phone in the room to contact anyone if we needed something or simply wanted to ask for the Wi-Fi password. Our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator. There wasn’t even a coffee machine in the room or any basic amenities that you would normally expect from a hotel. This was honestly the worst hotel stay I have ever had. I would never stay here again and absolutely do not recommend it.
