However, we have not been informed of major building work taking place right outside the windows and as result we were woken up every morning at 7am even though this was meant to be a relaxed holiday stay. “We had a lovely stay at this property. Owner Gerd is such a nice person, provided enough information before arrival and showed us everything when we checked in. Property is well maintained and rooms are big and clean. Location is just a bit outskirt of town but well manageable by foot to the centre and the train station (even in snow). train takes 15 minutes to Nuremberg central. Greek restaurant opposite house is lovely and price are good. Gerd offered us a free ride with our luggage on the day……
