The property was ok but the coffee table was broken. Manager said new one would arrive on Monday but they never replaced it all week. Roku device was horrible. Apps said to replace Roku device as the one they had was so old it was outdated.

I loved the character, the sense of peace and individual attention. Having an allocated off road spot for my vehicle that was easily accessible was a gem. It was an amazing time! The owners are so sweet! The pricing was a great deal, they worked with us on payments and just made the vacation so easy and stress free. The town is so close and cute. Cottage was exactly as advertised. I had a few changes and questions beforehand and Lisa was quick to help and answer. Location was great, just a little south of Long Beach. Guest book was full of information and lots of restaurant menus. Bed was comfy, lighting good (sometimes a problem when we've travelled) and the bathroom was big. Very clean and pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Property was nice and quaint. The room was clean and welcoming. There was coffee and tea as well as some cookies and chocolates waiting in the room upon our arrival. The bed was comfortable. The cottages were easily accessed from the main road on the peninsula. As the descriptions for the Captain's Cottage states, the bath only has a tub. There is no curtain around the tub and the ceiling is slanted, so if you are 6' tall, you cannot stand in the tub. If you do not mind tubs or kneeling showers this would not be an issue. The commode faces the tub and there may be 12 inches of clearance. While seated on the commode, my knees were against the tub. Smokers - While the room did not smell of smoke initially, they do allow smokers to smoke outside. And what does smoke do, it rises up to the upper level Captain's Cottage. Also, since they allow smoking outside, guess where the smoker's hang out, on the patio and outside table, ruining that area for non-smokers. If you are short, like tubs over showers, and smoke or don't mind smoke, the cottage is lovely.

We had a fantastic time there. It’s comfortable, relaxing, and homie. The place is clean, the bed is very comfortable. The owners are fantastic. I recommend this place to everyone. We made our next reservation before our stay was half over.
