"This hotel is so wonderful that I actually didn’t want to rate it - yes! I wanted to keep this hidden gem a secret for myself! Unbelievably gorgeous location, gracious, helpful staff, excellent restaurant and breakfast, quiet, and comfortable. What more could anyone want? I wish I could buy the property but keep the entire staff. There is not one single thing that I can say that would improve this hotel. It is that perfect. By the way, if you’re staying in the area, drive over to St. Wolfgang and take the gondola ride to the top of the mountain. This was suggested by the hotel staff and the view is amazing - well worth it."

"Absolutely wonderful Christmas stay ✨ Cannot fault this hotel at all. We had such a lovely stay over Christmas. I was reluctant to book at first as the hotel is not in the centre of Salzburg and a lot of the reviews are from a long time ago, but it was the best decision! The hotel is in the middle of wonderful countryside, it’s so nice to be able to explore the city and then stay in this lovely little picturesque town. It’s so easy to get to, just hop on bus 150 to/from Salzburg and it takes about 20 mins. The buses are super regular (even on Xmas day!), cheap and really comfortable. The hotel is in superb condition, recently renovated by the looks of it and the decor is perfect. Our room was well furnished, super clean and we had a large balcony with a view of the mountains/lake. Breakfast is included and was top quality. We also went to the hotel bar on Christmas Eve which was lovely and the drinks were spot on. We didn’t use the pool/spa as unfortunately didn’t have time but had a nosey and it looked wonderful. All staff members were super friendly and if you get time to explore the surroundings you won’t forget it, they’re stunning. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel and encourage everyone to visit! I loved Salzburg but I’d come back just to stay here."

THe room was a bit cold, but i realize it was first week of cool weather, and maybe furnace wasn't at full steam yet. But the staff was friendly, the town is very picturesque, i would surely go back to this place."
