Upstairs was too hot so had to sleep in the single beds

The property is lovely. Those who were working were kind. The toilet in our room was broken and ran every 17 minutes all night long. We told the desk and they left us a note that the toilet was fixed. However, upon entering the room we discovered that our room was not made up - probably because it was being serviced when the cleaning staff was in the area and it just got missed but, the toilet now ran every minute all night long, albeit, not as loud as the night before. We were also very short on towels with zero hand towels and wash cloths. Juniper Preserve is a nice facility and with these items corrected I am sure it will make for a lovely stay for someone. I did again inform the desk prior to check-out. I was disappointed that there was zero compensation for these issues. I would have comped a night, offered a pastry and coffee drink for the guests travel, etc. Hospitality goes a long ways!

Campfire Hotel was well designed for the guests’ enjoyment. The fit pit was a great space to hang out in the evening, with s’mores kits available for sale and lights in the trees. There were food trucks with breakfast burritos and coffee in the morning. The pool area had multiple types of seating. Overall a fun place to stay.

The balcony overlooking the river was the best part of the Riverhouse Lodge, yet the room was clean and comfortable and the pool and amenities were fun too. We saw a lot of families having a really good time there. Bend is a great town, and we also recommend tubing down the river there with the Tumalo Creek people.
