What has not changed is watching the seals and deer while on your zoom call or enjoying some family time with this perfectly appointed home. The views are spectacular any time of year!

Beautiful!
This property is probably the best VRBO property I have experienced (and I use VRBO a lot). This house is stocked amazingly and so clean and cozy. The pictures are good but wait til you see it in person! The owner is so generous and excellent communication. We had such a relaxing, fun, comfortable (beds and bedding are amazing!) and we will be back!

Great Winter Getaway
Fantastic spot to get away for a long weekend and enjoy some quiet and being in the water. Super dog friendly and had everything we needed to really enjoy our stay. Owners were fantastic and communication was really easy.

Spectacular views!
Quiet, private setting with spectacular views! Excellent place to walk dogs. We saw deer every day. The cabin is well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. Instructions were well organized.

Excellent Property
This property is excellent. It is very well stocked and there are thoughtful touches everywhere. The view from the deck is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable, there are soft robes in each bathroom, and the kitchen has everything you need in it. The hosts were very responsive to anything we needed. We were in town for a wedding and this home was the perfect spot for our family to stay. I would highly recommend this property,

What a lovely place
The cottage has a very personal and comfortable atmosphere - you feel like you have been invited to a friend’s cabin for the weekend. Everything is clean and in good working order. The location is awesome. With the west-facing view, the sunsets are beautiful! Would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as pictured
Lovely cabin, beautiful water views, very comfortably appointed. Enjoyed spotting the resident seal in the harbor a few times (my husband dubbed him “Sealy Dan”). It’s a bit of a trek into town for supplies, and the grocery stores and restaurants in Shelton aren’t great, so I’m glad we brought most of what we needed from home. Had a relaxing and restful week - just what we wanted!

Absolutely incredible
This place is perfect. It’s got three spacious bedrooms with good mattresses, kitchen is fully stocked and open. Living room and dining room are comfortable without being on top of each other. And now for the outside…. Wow it was so unbelievably quiet. There is an osprey nest in one of the large trees that you can look at while on the deck. Make sure to look for high tide low tide in the area as the water was perfect to sunbathe and swim in. If you don’t pay attention to tide, you may get stuck in the mud. Just a breathtaking property. Grocery shops and food are about 20mins away and the drive in is so wonderful. Owners are very helpful if you have questions. My family and I had the very best of times and can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Tabitha and Dan.

Peaceful and relaxing
This place was so relaxing! Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels and blankets, and the charcoal BBQ full of oysters was the perfect touch along with campfires! Lots of jellyfish to see when Kayaking at high tide. Also, felt so safe letting our kids 10 and 8 roam around.

Special place with all we needed to enjoy it
It was so nice that the place offered so many amenities to make sure that we enjoyed all it had to offer- boots for low tide beach combing in a workable sizes for me, hubs, 9 and 10 yr olds (only 3 yr old didn’t have a pair that fit), firewood, s’mores stuff, cooking basics, towels for a crowd. We would stay again! Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Tranquil waterfront cottage
Lovely cottage right on the water. We enjoyed our stay very much and were delighted that the host had kindly left us some food and wine. Not a great place for going on walks as you have to walk on the road, although it is quiet. Beds were too soft for us. It was wonderful to be able to have our dogs with us.

Perfect Little Getaway
My husband and his father adored this property for their annual father and son trip! The water is literally RIGHT in front of the house and even though the weather was rainy, the coziness of the home plus the view, made the weekend perfect. Amazing staycation getaway!
This property was so perfect for our first getaway as new parents. We were celebrating our 9th Anniversary and our sons first month of life. Relaxing on the deck with the beautiful views was incredible - so much wildlife and perfect sunsets. The area was very quiet and relaxing. The house itself was very, very well stocked. Full kitchen with every utensils you could need (with in reason) and loads of spices available. We were here just for a relaxing stay, but they have so many more things available to make this a perfect stay for you and your family. We will be returning!

Perfect cottage on the water. Great for bringing a kayak to launch from private “beach”. Highly recommend it. Bring your own bottled water or filter. Water had a metallic taste.

Serene setting
This cottage provided a peaceful stay for my family. It was clean and well stocked. The hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The views were lovely and my kids loved catching crabs when the tide went out. I will add that the stairs are quite steep and slippery. We did not feel comfortable letting our two year old navigate them without one of us helping. There is a bedroom and a bathroom downstairs, but I would caution against anyone who struggles with balance or mobility using the stairs. Overall, we loved this sweet cottage in the woods and would come again!

Accessible to Everything!
This property is well worth the drive from Seattle. It was equal distance to all of our adventure locations - Astoria, Olympic NP, Seattle, Rainier NP. I traveled with my teenage daughter and son for a weeklong trip. Each bedroom is well appointed with space to store your personals, plug in devices. I was pleased to see the WFH desk setup with monitor in the upstairs bedroom. The Jack & Jill bathroom upstairs was great for the kids. Beautiful sunsets nightly and a visit from cranes, otters and ducks daily. We hunted for oysters at low tide - bonus having all sizes of wellies available in the shed. This was the perfect level of quiet for us to enjoy and unplug. You will not be disappointed with this charming spot!

Cozy cabin in peaceful location.
We would highly recommend this cabin. Very quiet and peaceful location, yet close to everything you could need. Everything was as described only better. Comfortable beds, nice furnishings and very clean and organized. Can't thank the hosts enough for being pet friendly. We would love to come back!

A Little Slice of Heaven
My friends and I stayed here for a quick girls weekend and it was perfect. The view is amazing and the house is darling! It's small but you don't feel like it is small as it is very well-appointed. We had everything we needed and things we didn't know we would need! They had boots in multiple sizes for us to wear, gym equipment, water toys, and everything! It was very clean when we checked in, it was an easy process. The area is very quiet. We were there in March so I imagine it gets a little busier in the summer but I think it would still be very peaceful. We are already planning a trip there in July.
