Lovely clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The shower riser rail needed replacing in one room as we had to hold the showerhead in order to use it. But water was hot and plentiful. Lots of parking available and electric car charge points too. Despite being near the main road the room was very quiet and no traffic noise heard. Staff were helpful although mixup on first morning with who was working so breakfast slightly delayed. 2nd day was much better with decent breakfast (but please don't put black pepper on everything!) Overall a lovely stay and conveniently located for us. We hope to return in the future.

I was not impressed with my stay despite Ethan, the only employee available, doing a stalwart job to help us. There was a problem with heating, water leaks, cold shower, no one to prepare breakfast

The food was very limited, all frozen rubbish. Expedia advertised breakfast, no breakfast included.
The rooms were dirty. Ours was obviously over the kitchen as it smelt of dirty cooking fat. You could hear the people talking in the next bedroom.
The bed was really small and you rolled into the middle.

The bedroom had no heating so we had to ask if a radiator could be provided. The bathroom the towel rail did not heat up and was extremely cold.

Thatched Cottage inn was exactly as we had expected. A lovely room with a large en-suite all very clean and ready for occupation. The towels were large and really soft. In the morning they offer continental breakfast only, with a good range of products to choose from.

Room spotless.Bottle of water and a few biscuits would have been good. Shower needs attention. My offer included breakfast...the hotel does not do breakfast. Any refund for this?

Lovely inn to stay in with my two small dogs in way through to Devon - spacious immaculate room with separate bath and walk in shower, ample parking - soon to be hooked up for EV charging too! Friendly staff and good breakfast - what’s not to love!
