“Convenient and plenty of off road parking. Slight hick- up initially as unable to enter front door. Phoned 2 numbers which were suppied on door but no answer. Eventually realised we had missed the star character off the number. Lovely room with plenty of tea and coffee. Slight issue with hot water as unable to get it very hot, lukewarm only so shower a bit tricky and couldn't find a non slip bath mat. Really enjoyed our stay though, overall great value for money”

“A lovely clean room.....staff were very friendly and helpful...breakfast was fresh and good. Bar was busy with very friendly customers. We traveled down from Scarborough for football v Buxton...after the game the bar was very busy but the home supporters made us very welcom.”

“Place smelled horrible. Bedsheets were stained. Mold all over the shared bathroom. I found a pair of used underwear beneath my mattress. The place had not been vacuumed in ages. Very shocked Expedia would allow a place like this to remain on their website. ”
