“My wife and I had a pleasant 1-night stay at this property. The staff were friendly and helpful - helped with our special request of storing some personal item in their fridge. Please note that the check out details on Expedia are incorrect - correct check out time is 10:30am (not 11am). Staff was friendly - allowed for a late check out of 11:30am. “Location was excellent for walks, Castleton centre, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is very small but fine for two people & a dog. The log burner is great but no wood or matches are provided.
