"The room was small but adequate and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfasts and had plenty to choose from. The bar staff were pleasant and helpful. It would have been good to have some evening lights on the outside path down to the town. The gardener had a difficult job to clear the leaves from the path. He did a good job"

Lovely, comfortable hotel with a very good breakfast - buffet cereals etc and cooked to order hot breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and xame across as efficient and happy in their work. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at The Queens Head Hotel! From the moment we stepped into the pub to the moment we checked out, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive — they truly made us feel at home. The location is spot-on, right on the high street with loads of bars, restaurants, and shops just steps away. Even though the hotel is connected to a lively pub, they close the back door after 9pm, so it’s perfectly peaceful in the rooms behind. We slept like babies! And the breakfast? Top-notch — delicious and satisfying. If you’re looking for a warm, well-located place with fantastic service, I’d wholeheartedly recommend The Queens Head Hotel. Five stars all the way! 🌟"

"It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom."
